My family is thinking about staying here for a trip to Disney during the 1st week of January, and I was wondering if anyone had stayed there before and how it was. Thanks a lot!:)

We stayed there a few years ago. It was OK. Good for the price. The area is a little "seedy" however. There was a shooting at the gas station on it's corner when we were there. It is a gated resort. Manned by security 24 hours a day. The resort itself seemed pretty safe. I believe you have to pay extra if you want housekeeping. Otherwise, they just bring you fresh towels when you need them. It is a timeshare resort so they will try to get you to sit in on one of their sales pitches. Check out some guest reviews on tripadvisor.com.

We stayed there once and I thought it was "okay" as well. I did not care for the area either, it did look seedy. There was security there and it is gated. (That shooting thing would have freaked me out!)
The maid service was very good, they really went above & beyond in cleaning the room.

I have stayed here and I agree with the previous posters. The area in Kissimmee is slightly seedy, but not scary, and there's security anyway. The uncool location is why the prices are so good--the condos themselves are of a good quality. There's a big Wal-Mart very close by which has some of the cheapest food prices in town, so that's a major plus. There are lovely trees on the grounds here, too, which adds a lot. Just be careful not to book at the Inn on US 192. It's run by the same people, but unlike this place, which is a condo resort, the Inn's a motel. One bummer: The last time I stayed, about a year ago, the rooms had no Internet access; you had to bring your computer to the activities center (which was very good) in order to get online. But that was free.

I have recommended this place to many people. The value is very strong.
