Now...I am a little nervous....

So here I am only 6 days away from my arrival in Orlando...and I am getting pretty nervous!

I looked at the Weather Channel's 10 day forecast, and there is a good chance that our trip is going to be a soggy one.

I will be traveling with my DH, DD (19 months), and both of my parents. Does anyone have any tips/advice on fun things to do while it rains? Not that I am afraid of melting, just so that I have options to present to the group.

Take your poncho and go.....
Just bring an extra pair of sneakers or other footwear...while the wet pair is in the room drying out. Unless it is a real frog choker, you usually don't notice after a while....the only real problem is when parades are cancelled...if that is what you are in to.

And it is the one time you don't worry about going on Kali or SM...:lol:

NO ONE hates bad weather more than I do, but DON'T WORRY!!

Weather Guessers are notoriously unreliable! it might rain, it might not. But the fact that they SAY it's going to rain should make you happy because they are wrong more often than not.

In 2005, I was in the same boat. We were going on a Caribbean cruise and I was checking the weather channel and websites from 10 days out right up to departure time. They indicated a rain system was literally going to be following us island to island the entire week!!

I got myself incredibly upset and was convinced I had spent my money on a washout.

The reality? Sunshine every day but one, and even then only an hour of drizzle. That's it!

Don't let it get to you...they really have no clue.
But always bring an umbrella with you wherever you go. If you have it, you won't need it!
