Hello,
We are heading to Disney World in November as requested by my teen for her Sweet 16 birthday
Hubby,(not a Disney fan ), daughter (9 years old), Teen (will turn 16 while in Disney) and myself are arriving into MCO on Monday November 5th from Toronto at 11:15am and departing MCO on Saturday November 10th at 12:15pm
I am hoping my itinerary is good to go however would love some critic and suggestions/tips
I still have time to change things around if needed as ADR is not for another 2 weeks
P.S. we do have hopper passes
Thank you
Day 1 (Monday)
Magical Express to Poly. Check in. Pick up Magic Bands (We are Canadians therefore they are not mailed to us)
Quick lunch at Captains Cook
Bus to DHS
FP+ Tier 1 (Possibly if confirmed) Slinky Dog Dash
FP+ Tier 2 a) Indiana Jones (hubby loves the movies)
b) Split between teen/ myself : ToT & Hubby/9 year old : Beauty and the Beast
**In the past, since our room was not ready, we would stay close by therefore monorail to MK however with Toy Story Land opening this summer, I have a feeling, we may not get the FP for the rides there therefore planning to tackle the land whenever we can, is that a wise choice? - See Day 5 as well**
First choice would be MK.
If we are going to be at DHS - Dinner at Sci Fi
If not, then maybe O'Hana or something on the Boardwalk maybe Beaches N Cream
Personal note: I would have loved to spend this day at Disney Springs but teen refuses to go there. May convince her yet especially we can manage to do DHS on Day 5
If Disney Springs planning is a success, then I definitely want to try Homecomin'
Back to poly to call it for the night
Day 2 (Tuesday)
8:30am ish Kona Café Breakfast
Day at Epcot
FP+ Tier 1: Test Track or Soarin’? ( Husband may like Test Track and remember we are trying to make him love Disney J)
FP+ Tier 2: Spaceship Earth/Meet Disney Pals at the Epcot Character Spot
And then try to get the Frozen Ever After FP if at all possible
No dining plan here as it is Food & Wine festival at Epcot and no dining reservations here. If we are able to, we will take a last minute Kona Café dinner reservations
Day 3 (Wednesday – Celebrating Sweet 16)
Birthday girl LOVES Winnie there
8:00am ish Crystal Palace
Day at her favourite park MK
FP+ Jungle Cruise (again trying to make hubby happy)
FP + 7 Dwarfs Train
FP + Big Thunder Mountain Train
6:00pm California Grill ( Birthday girls love sushi and figure this is a nice restaurant close by for sushi
Back to MK for fireworks (Birthday girl wants to be in the park for the fireworks)
**Was thinking of doing the Fireworks Dessert party but not sure if it is worth it?**
Day 4 ( Thursday)
This is our resort change day – Hubby has always wanted to stay at AKL and I am surprising him with the switch
