Omigosh I will be in disney from the 11th to 15th.., will it be decorated for Christmas?! I'm freaking out because it's always been a huge wish of mine to see disney at Christmas and from what I'm reading I think there are some Christmassy things happening on the dates I will be there. Can anyone who knows disney confirm??
Signed, fingers crossed and freaking out!

The castle will be lit and MK will be decorated since MVMCP starts the first Friday in November. The tree won't be up in MK until after the parade taping in Dec. Not all resorts are decked out until later in November but most will be decked out. The monorail resorts are awesome, even WL. The other parks had their trees up when we were Nov 6-12 last year... like Epcot and AK. We truly love going this time of the year. MK is SO pretty at night with the castle dreamlights lit!

Everything Christmas should be in full swing by the time you arrive. Like tinkgrl1685 said the only thing missing will be the large tree in the MK. It does not go up till around the 8th or 9th of December this year. The Christmas Parade tapes the first weekend in Dec then the tree is put up. You will love this time year...so much more to look at and see. A suggestion if you have never seen Christmas in the world. To the monorail tour of all the resorts getting off and taking each one decorations. Always a fun thing to do. The Wilderness Lodge also has a great tree in its lobby. You also want to make sure to see the Osborn Lights at Hollywood Studios. We prefer to go later in the evening when its not so crowded but its also fun to be there for the flip of the switch to see all the lights come to life. Later in the evening you can just stand in the middle of the street and take it all in. Me I love to sing and dance to the Christmas music....but I am not normal!!! :D LOL!!!!!:joyfull:

I highly recommend going to MVMCP if you can fit it into your schedule.

We'll be there from end October to 12th November and at MVMCP on 10th - second time we've done it and are so looking forward to it. If you can fit a party into your schedule I would recommend it. :)

To add to the above, the "Holidays Around the World" activities at Epcot (Illuminations holiday finale, storytellers, Candlelight Processional) don't start until the day after Thanksgiving, though I'm sure the tree will be up before then.

My DH is now hooked on going at Christmastime. First because is not quite so hot, as when we used to go in August, but then also because of all the Christmas decorations and hoopla going on. It truly is amazing to see.

I'm going November 9-15 and am so excited about all the Christmas goodies. Taking my partner, and he has no idea that a) the trip is already 100% paid for, b) we're doing the Behind the Seeds tour because Living With the Land is his absolute favorite, and c) I got us tickets to MVMCP on one of our resort days! Should be the merriest. ;)

There will be a lot of Christmas cheer going on! MVMCP, Gingerbread House at the GF, Osborne Lights. The resorts are getting in gear with the decorations, some more than others. We will be visiting in early November as well. Looking forward to that special Disney magic!:joyfull:
