It is Six Flags Parks or Six Flag Parks?

The former seems redundant and the latter sounds like a typo.

I guess that why they don't try to market themselves as a plural...It's always at a Six Flags Park near you.

Personally, I'd go with SFP.

A Six Flags park sounds more appropriate than a Disney parks.

For spring break, we went to our local Six Flags park.
For spring break, we went down to a Disney Parks.

One sounds & reads smoothly. The other makes my nose wanna bleed.

Disney Parks is an initiative to lump all the parks together as a vacation destination. They are marketing themselves as a plural entity as opposed to the individual parks. I don't think they expect you to think of them as a plural, but rather as individual parks.


Six Flags certainly does not try this and they have more properties than Disney.

Sorry, I do agree that it sounds dumb in certain circumstances and I never liked the marketing initiative when they started it as it took a lot of the individual park's personalities away.
