Because people haven't grown up enough to not tear something apart on a message board. Everyone always has something NEGATIVE to say. No longer fun to post about casual topics.

I wouldn't get too excited yet. The last press release from the company came in April. At that time they did not have funding in place.

It is almost December now with no opening date and no funding. It might be some time before we see this non-Disney magic happen.

Texas? Not that impressive. Ski Dubai is impressive. Why? Because it does and has snowed in Texas before. To the best of my knowledge, it doesn't snow in the middle of the desert.

Ski Dubai is also awesome because it is completly indoors with REAL SNOW. The stuff in Texas will be very very fake synthetic snow that has really only been used in small skate parks in England. It has never been used on the scale proposed in Texas.

I was actaully kind of interested to see what this was all about. But to remove a post entirely, and because barely anybody even responded to this thread, let alone COMPLAIN about it. That's just silly...

You should rethink about who the mature ones are around here.

I agree, I think there was a little overreaction here.

I thought it was an interesting post and I linked out to some interesting sites about man-made snow. I'm now more knowledgeable about snow!

I'm a firm believer of...if you can't play nice in the sandbox, we won't play at all.

Instead all we got was trashing on how it was fake snow, trashing on how the website sucks, trashing on how it won't happen anyway, trashing on how it's no big deal, "wow, a ski park"...etc etc etc.

Not one person except for happymom had one positive thing to say.

So tell your little negative posting buddies to grow up, so we can have real-people discussion. Not bashing discussion. There's no fun in that.
