Sooooooo glad to have you back! :sohappy: I was really beginning to panic over the last few days! And doesn't it figure, I was home those days too and could have spent lots and lots of time on the boards... But, typical luck for me, I got nothing! :hammer:

Anyhoo - glad to have you back... I may have to get sick again!! ;)

I was having a lot of trouble accessing the sight. I am in the IT field, so at one of my client’s locations I tried the sight www.wdwmagic.com and it worked. So I got the IP address (62.105.97.41) of the server and typed it into my browser and I got the wdwmagic homepage but I still could not access the forums, I was still having a lot of trouble. Now I’m going to get a little technical now so bare with me. I went back to my client’s location and checked to see what his DNS servers were. I jotted that information down and when I got back to my office I edited my TCP/IP network setting to use these (151.202.0.85, 151.203.0.85) DNS IP address form my clients location and now it works great. If anyone is having this problem they can go into their network settings, then go to the propertied for you TCP/IP settings and edit your DNS for the above address and that should fix the problem. This procedure varies on different operating systems so I had to generalize. Fell free to IM me @ DonickCo or KlerTheWay on AIM and I will try to walk you through the process for your OS.

Be careful doing this though. Those DNS servers may not be accessible at all from some ISPs, and may impact performance for individuals connections. You should really be using DNS servers provided by your own ISP. If you still cannot access forums.wdwmagic.com, it just means that your ISP has not refreshed their DNS yet, it should only be a matter of a few more days at most before they do. :)

Tyler, is your DNS working or RU using the IP address of the sight, if you are using the IP address it seams to run slower.

I have RoadRunner... and I checked my bandwidth using the c-net tester... 1108.7kbps, which as Im to understand is pretty respectable for a cable modem.

I hate computers... lol... :)

That is why the pages are going very slowly. They all load elements from www.wdwmagic.com, so when you are viewing forums.wdwmagic.com, your pc is trying to find www.wdwmagic and cannot.

RoadRunner is being unbeleivably slow with their updates! Hope it comes back for you soon :)

Thanks Steve... and yeah, RoadRunner is being kinda slow for something that claims to be so fast... LOL... it's probably due to the conversion to "BrightHouse"... blah. It's getting slightly better. I no longer have time to make a sandwich inbetween page flips! :)
