I was on MK last Thursday and decided to have lunch at the Tomorrowland Noodle Station while everyone else in my family opted for Cosmic Rays. I walked over there only to discover a sign that said "NOT serving today".

I ended up going back to Rays and having chicken for lunch. It was good, but I had my mind made up for noodles.........

Anyone know if this restaurant is closed for good or just doing another update?

who knows WHY it gets so much press.

I'm curious as to why it keeps closing.

Anyone out there know anything?

When I was there on Saturday, they said it was going to be closed through September. It was open for like two months, closed for a couple weeks, open for like 9 more days, and now closed again for two months. Who knows what's going on?

There was another thread that said Pinocchio Haus is going on reduced hours too through August.

I was there on Saturday and the place was packed. So it seems a bit odd that they're cutting quick service, but then again, the rumor is that they're less busy then expected. Heck, they opened seasonl passholder blockout dates like a month early.

I believe the closings and reduced hours were chalked up to lack of CMs.

As to why it gets so much press? Well its a new restaurant and was covered heavily on the updates and in newsletters.

I was looking forward to eating there next month, now I'll look for someplace else.

Geez.

Well IF we are able to go in December, I will try it out then. BUT since that time of December is slow it will probably be closed due to lack of CM's....... :hammer:

Hmmm maybe I should go down during Spring Break '06 (only kidding - nothing is worth facing those types of crowds).

thanks MissM and Tigsmom for your input!

Disney is missing the boat by abusing this food location!

The unique menu items were greatly appreciated - and they were very good!

I'm glad we got to eat there during our July trip. Judging by the crowds, it seems the menu selection was a welcome change for all guests!

On top of the food selection, there is no other location with the open air view of the castle like the terrace has. So refreshing and relaxing on a hot afternooon!

Oh well.....

We could start a new thread:

I have to admit, this one was a huge disappointment. I don't get why it keeps closing. You'd think with the popularity of Pad Thai (at least it is here in Boston) it would be doing well?? I was really looking forward to eating here on my September trip. Bummer!

I talked to a Suit yesterday and was told as mentioned that it is closed as well as El Pirata with reduced hours at Pinocchio's due to being short about 2500 man hours or 62 Cast Members and it is the same at other parks also.

I have noticed some really disturbing (?SP) things on this visit which I may go into after I get home in detail.

Let us know when you post your trip report. I'm curious to compare notes.

I agree.

I was planning on eating there during my trip....but since it is closed (I made sure to plan a backup counter service restaurant to eat at in case the Noodle Station closed again....) I guess that my lunch the first day will be at Columbia Harbour House.....
