Non-Disco Yeti?

I've been meaning to post about this, and I apologize if this is the 1,578th post about the Yeti, but we were at WDW a month ago, and the Disco Yeti was no more (at least the few times we rode EE). He was still not moving, but the strobe lighting was replaced with softer, darker lighting, but we were able to actually see the Yeti fairly clearly for the first time since we first rode EE 3 1/2 years ago. How long has the strobe been turned off? Looks alot better now, even if the big guy isn't moving yet.

That's not intential. What happened is that the strobe light isn't working, so they replaced it with a disco strobe light ;)

Can't even fricking see him! TDO, aren't you even a little ashamed of yourselves for this? How many years will you continue this laughable failure? You're a disgrace to Walt's legacy of quality and innovation. Have you no self-respect whatsoever?

This is probably an older video. He has been lit by soft lighting for months now. It's an improvement over *just* the strobe light because you can clearly see him this way.

Sometimes the strobe lighting isn’t triggered by a train.
They must have been having some issues that week-we rode 3 or 4 times, and there was no strobe each time. I never realized before then how close the yeti appears to be to the train. Definitely jealous of the few people who got to see the AA working.
