Put me down for the NO Escargot Club. But, I have to say, there is something else at WDW that I can't stand, don't even like the smell of, and it is the most disgusting thing to watch people eat. Those darn turkey legs. And after seeing that leg thing from Gaston's Tavern, I have a sneaking suspicion that I might have to add that to the "Look Away!" list.

Snails aren't bad. You should try them once. As for foods I strive not eat at WDW, the answer is, "anything I can get better at home" That list is long however living outside of NYC we have most everything. I strive for quality not quantity and a variety of tastes. If I'm going to choose the places months in advance, the most important thing is variety. I suggest for others to take that tack as well. Were you to have the same kinds of food, for a week, you'd get tired of it. There is only so much help for sorting things out via the counter service meals, and typically limited variety with them. Most menus have something for everybody. Nothing will make you sick if you're not allergic to it. Disney is arguably the best banquet hall manager there is, so food handling and everything associated with that will be near perfect. It's not like you're eating snails on the roadway. You're eating them at WDW.

It would probably be easier for me to list the foods I would eat than the ones I won't. Beef, seafood, pork, lamb all definite no ways for me. I will eat chicken or turkey but wouldn't touch one of those turkey legs if someone paid me. To me it always looks like some one is eating a pterydactol leg or something, the smell and sight make me want to throw up. It amazes me how many people are willing to eat snails. I'm all set with a slug drenched in butter. I guess I'm not too adventurous, give me veggies, fruit and cheese and I'm happy.

I visited Uganda several years ago, and people there like to snack on termites that come from big termites mounds like those seen the Safari ride at AK. They salt them, put them in a pan, and cook them like popcorn. I keep waiting for a termite kiosk to pop up at AK!

I agree, I can't eat anything that has a face! If I order fish I always ask for its face to be removed before I see it (or it sees me). Also, I wouldn't know where to start with snow crab legs, they look a bit 'leggy' to me.

LOL! I had fish that came whole with the poor eyes staring at me. I had to cover his head with my napkin and still couldn't get over it, I could feel his eyes on me as I ripped his body apart. I'm the opposite of a vegetarian, ;) but just felt too barbaric.

You mean you will eat the liquid that is squeezed out of glands of a still living cow, purposely infested with bacteria, and then left to spoil so badly that it coagulates into a solid mass, yet you wont touch the boneless meat of a simple animal that is minimaly processed?

Tuna, had some bad tuna when I was a kid and hurled like mad... ever since the mere smell of it makes me gag... God forbid I actually put any in my mouth.
