Ok,Replies to all you UK people here. I agree not everyone from our little island loves Indian food, except Bradford,Birmingham,Glasgow,Leeds,Newcastle,Edinburgh,Manchester,London,Cardiff,Liverpool. As far as black pudding goes, until you try the famous " Stornoway " stuff, you ain't had it.Seared scallops on top of Stornoway pudding is to die for.My in laws love Chinese and always have " chicken curry & chips ( fries ) every Friday,eh! now that's what am talking about.

Nah, i don't like curry and i'm from the UK!

But to add to the discussion i would NEVER eat snails -eugh
Another thing i wouldn't eat would be any form of sea critter with a face, those beady eyes are really off putting o_O

The face is one of the best parts. Got to a Japanse restaruant and order a fish collar with head - it is just half the head, roasted. Just pick the meat off with the chopsticks. You have to beat my 7 y/o nephew off with a stick in order to get some for yourself.

Well I've just been looking at today's photos and then I saw them. Garlic & Parsley snails. There is no way Iam eating that.So that got me thinking,is there something at WDW that you would under no circumstances eat.Even if it was free! I once had sea urchin eggs on a Greek island and was up all night hurling. So what at WDW would you turn your nose up to.?
I dont eat Fish, bugs, rodents or anything "alive"

When I was just a kid my parents took us to Italy on a family vacation. In a Sorrento restaurant, we odered shimp cocktail, out it came, head and all! I just stared at my plate, these beady eyes staring back at me. Needless to say, there was no shimp being consumed that evening...
It could have been worse, they all start singing.:)

I have to admit that the idea of escargot squicked me out a little, but I forced myself to try them last year. I just popped the whole thing in my mouth without even pulling the top off the boule to take a peek. It tasted mostly like French bread. Kinda boring, actually. Even though I have reservations about some foods, I'll try anything once. I may have to talk myself in to some things, though!

They are not very stong in flavor. They taste - to me - sort of fishy, but not really. Maybe saying they taste of the ocean is a better way to describe them. Kind of like an oyster. With the bread they give you, it is hard to taste the actual escargot inside.

That makes sense. I was worried I'd be turned off by the texture. Maybe this year I'll get brave and try one without surrounding it with bread.

Shrimp heads, prepared properly, are freaking amazing. Best part of the shrimp.

I will suck the brains out of a crawfish head, too. If you're not sucking the head, you're eating them wrong.

There is so much that I won't/can't eat...the list would go on forever.

But it can start with seafood (allergies) and cheese (yuck).

I was in Chefs de France and got forced/dared by my Dad to eat escargot. It was good. My problem is I know what they look like before preparation and I can't get past it. They tasted like mushrooms which I love so I chewed and went with it. The buttery, garlic sauce, maybe some basil...there was something it was sauteed in and that helped too.

Yup. Too bad because I hear Sanaa is very good, but I just can't bring myself to like Curry.
There's more to Sanaa than curries.Tandoori chicken should taste like BBQ without any sauce.Hence the difference between chicken tikka & chicken tikka masala.
