Trip Report No Sounds Like Summer? We'll JOURNEY Anyway! *COMPLETED*

It was this week last summer that @TrolleyFollower91 and I had an epic girls trip to WDW.

On our first day we rocked to the music of DSB ~ the ultimate Journey tribute band ~ at the America Gardens Theater in Epcot. It was an event we'll always remember. DSB was the final band in the annual "Sounds Like Summer" concert series. The lead singer said the band was looking forward to returning next summer.

And here we are.....it's "next summer."

But there has been no "Sounds Like Summer" concert series in 2017.
No DSB.

Don't. Stop. Believin'.

Em and I refuse to go our Separate Ways. We have too much fun together. We have one last chance to do WDW together before school starts and by golly we're gonna do it....even without DSB.

Tragedy nearly struck though when Em learned her beloved roast beef sandwich has been replaced by a French dip. ("Because it sounds more French!" explained the CM. )

Em decided to give it a try. I will let her give her review.

After lunch we used our Splash Mountain FP. Standby on this hot afternoon was 85 minutes.

Today is warmer by far than our first two days. We did not get very wet on Splash and decided it was time to leave MK in favor of a pool.

Mario Andretti drove our bus to WL. (Actually it was a female driver.) The half dozen of us boarded the bus and she immediately shut the door and pulled away from the space....typically drivers linger at the stop in the afternoon. From the moment she pulled away to our time of arrival at the WL bus stop was a whopping three minutes!! She never even slowed down at the traffic light, but barreled on through as she turned left.

I took a picture of the bus should it ever be needed as evidence in her speeding trial.

Seriously - how many time have you ridden since November?
I'm hoping we will be there at the same time this year as I think you need to substitute @TrolleyFollower91 with my face! (No offence) and we ride the wildest ride in the wilderness together.....

Yes it was Be Our Guest. We have lunch there almost every time we visit.
