The nicest mousekeeping I've experience has been at the GF last summer...but BWV and BWI run a close second to really nice and helpful. And I swear mousekeeping at YC are just plain nasty. I don't know how they can walk the hallways there and just go right on by the trash. I finally called the manager and told them to clean the freaking hallway or bring me a vacuum cleaner and a trash bag and I would.
I agree I really liked the mousekeeping when we stayed at GFV and at The Boardwalk when we stayed in the beautiful Garden Cottages. Also SSR they were wonderful. AKV/Kidani has been the worst so far. :)

I'm leaving Wednesday for WDW wish me luck that I have a great experience with my resort. I've had some issues already with DME forgetting to send my yellow tags and checking in with my resort about my room requests. So hopefully everything goes smoothly.

Got home tonight. Checked my credit card account on line. There is a charge for the entire stay, no credit for one night as I was promised. After work tomorrow I will be on the phone. I am livid.
When they told us they were giving us a credit (not for a night being we were onn points we got a measly $100 or $150 bucks for all our trouble!) I made sure to double check my charges the day after that. So sorry that happened to you and I wish I would of thought to tell you to double check that you had your credit before you left. Sad though because you shouldn't have to double check something like that and they should of followed through. I hope your phone call goes well. Demand to talk to the manager. Let us know what happens. Good Luck! :)

We stayed at AKL last year for the first time and all vowed to never stay there again! We didn't have any problem getting the room cleaned, but we had a bunch of of issues that just kept adding up. Our room was missing a lot of basic amenities like soap and stuff like that, so multiple calls had to be made. We had to take a cab several times because the bus system was ridiculous (especially when you're used to a resort with great bus service).
Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, no biggie. They told us they'd call or text when the room was ready but they never did. Then when they brought up our bags they missed several so my mom had to go down to find the missing ones.
It's a beautiful resort, and I'd definitely go back to eat at one of their amazing restaurants, but for the price of the room, there just shouldn't be so many hiccups!

Didn't wait till tonight. Called, and I see the credit on my card. Of course it was a credit for a weekday rate not the one weekend night which was higher, and they didn't credit the taxes. UGH. Too much time spent on this mess already, over 4 hours if you include the inconvenienced time at the hotel. I am done. And I agree with Belle above. Beautiful resort and as I never ate at Boma since mom didn't come and I was by myself (figured at the rate things were going, if I got up to get food they would think I was done as no one was at the table and clear my table), I will go back to eat there, but NEVER to stay. I love POFQ and even POP is better service-wise.

And thus ends my saga. (I hope)
