No Pack - What Do You Carry?

This trip I don't want to do a pack. Just wondering what you carry your personal items in when you go to the parks. Just hubby and me so no need for kids' stuff. We'll have a small backpack for some waters, cameras etc.....Thanks for the ideas!

Whatever can't fit in my cargo shorts is all we ever take. That way you can zip right through the "no bags" security checkpoint in the parks. I don't even take a camera case, just put the campera in a seperate pocket

During the day, I always take a backpack, and my husband and I take turns carrying it throughout the day. I'd like to travel lighter, but a bag is more convenient for me, because everything is in one place (camera, water bottles, aspirin, etc..). In the evenings, the most I will carry is a very small cross body bag, but usually the little bit of things I bring just go right in my pockets. No water bottles or bulky items go with me to the parks in the evenings.

I use a small bag that acts like a purse of sorts. It's canvas so it's durable, and the long strap usually doubles as a place to put my pins instead of a lanyard. The bag is also small enough to go on rides with very easily.

Got from outlet in Orlando a Kipling Alvar crossbody last trip-was terrific for camera, small items and gum. Plus it is washable so if it got dirty it could be washed. I think of Disney every time I use it now.

I have a kids sized Kelty backpack. I love it. It's built for an elementary aged child so it's small but unlike some kids backpacks it doesn't have all the silly animals or colors. It's a nice plain blue backpack with nicely padded shoulder straps, a padded back, side mesh bottle holders, and an extra zippered pocket in the front. It's incredibly sturdy. I pack my DSLR with an extra lens in it and use the removable padding from my camera case to protect it. It stills leaves me plenty of room for a light jacket, wallet, phone, and even a purchase or two if I don't want something sent back to my room. If I decide against taking the DSLR and just my point and shoot (I take both along and switch back and forth a lot) we take nothing extra with us. My husband has cargo pants and he puts our KTTW cards and my camera in one of the pockets so we can skip the bag search. I'm happy to go either way.

During the day I take a drawstring bag with a few drinks, sunglasses (or their case!), money, KTTW, camera, Magicool spray and maybe some snacks. In the evening I either take a small Fatface zipped cross body bag or load up my pockets with money, camera and KTTW.

I posted a long list of items that I toss into the back pack. Its more then what most carry. But don't forget your ID, cash/cc/tixs, sunscreen, and a small first aid kit. Those are the most important.

A sling pack that holds Kleenex, a small first aid kit (band-aids, Neosporin, etc..), ponchos (if it is supposed to rain), important papers, moleskin (for foot blisters), and any other sundry small junk that we might need during the day. The pack is very light so it doesn't bother me to carry it all day. I even tested it out with my tablet and it still weighs next to nothing. I even decorated it with Disney patches.

I bring a wristlet and just carry a small camera, cell phone, and some cash, credit card and ID fastened together with a hair tie. Never needed anything more than that.

I carry a Baggelini cross-body bag with loads of zippered compartments. I keep my phone, chapstick, money, KTW cards and camera in there. My husband carries a small backpack with ponchos, water bottle, ibuprofen, sunscreen, hand wipes, glow sticks, etc.

I've almost always carried a pack when the family was in the parks, but the day or two by myself if it didn't go in the pockets, it didn't go. The pack always had water, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, cameras, ponchos, small first aid stuff, and when the kids were younger autograph books.

Put me down as a "no bag" person. On vacation I transfer from my regular back-pocket wallet to a small front-pocket wallet/money-clip that holds my license, room key w charging privileges, AP (if I have one) and a small amount of cash. Add in my cell phone and small pocket camera and that's it.

The only time I've taken a backpack into the park lately has been on days where we're switching resorts and all the medications, laptop, etc for our group go into the backpack and goes with us to the park. But we rent a locker for it at the park, we don't lug it around.

We have a camera case, not too large and it goes around the neck or shoulder (strap). We put our KTTW cards, 2 cell phones, and some cash, IDs, cigs (for hubby:() and an inhaler just in case for my boys. It works out fine usually.;)

I bought a Coach cross-body bag for my trip in a few weeks. I used to wear a drawstring bag, but I don't like having anything on my back so this small bag is perfect and will fit everything that I need.
