No new resort reservations can be made June 9

I can't believe it is still down. Has anyone called a resort directly today? I know what resort they want to stay at now but they want a package with tickets and dining. I am assuming that I can only do that with the main number or online. Not by calling the resort?

When you call a resort number, you are also routed to a call center, they just answer as the resort. Front desks don't have enough people to take reservations.

Thanks, that is what I thought and why I had not tried calling yet. I know the excitement when you are ready to book even if it is your 20th trip, so I understand they are anxious to get booked. I will keep watching and waiting! Thanks for all the info tho! :)

But they really aren't losing 24 hours of revenue. The same people who would have booked during those 24 hours will still book their vacations thru Disney or authorized travel agent when the system is back up.

In ESPN's case, the games would be made up for.

The actually lost our revenue. I was going to book a last minute weekend trip to arrive yesterday, but couldn't since the system was down.

They said if you showed up at the hotel, it would be first come, first served. Since we live 7 hours away, I wasn't taking that risk.

I have been trying to book for the past two days and I just booked a holiday elsewhere. I know it's no big loss to Disney. But I really needed to get our vacation planned and booked. We'll go back another time. :)

07:20 Eastern Daylight Time: Systems are still down with the following message:

"We are currently unable to make new Resort hotel reservations online and over the phone. You may still purchase tickets and make FastPass+ selections. Thank you for your patience while we work to improve your future experience. We apologize for any inconvenience."

Looks like something is going majorly wrong with the upgrade.

I'm surprised this isn't bigger news, people being unable to book rooms now for what 50 hours? @wdwmagic, has anything been said about this that you are aware of?

I did a quick online search and the news doesn't seem to have picked up on the outage. Nothing on the Orlando Sentinel or Orlando news outlets that I can find.

The people who are booking 24 hours in advance are probably such a slim number that it doesn't matter.. if someone more than a few days out can't book this second, but knows no one else can book as well, there's probably not enough motivation to start raging on social media.lol

A few hours downtime happens regularly but this was (by my count) over 50 hours? I tried booking Thursday afternoon it's now Sunday 2am and it looks like parts of the system are coming back online

I was able to snag an Enchanted Room Discount offer this morning for our September trip at POFQ so I modified our reservation and saved over $300.00 for our four night stay..

It's finally back up but now it seems the moderate I was planning on booking (POFQ) for December is sold out?! Please tell me this is a glitch? It seems to be coming up sold out for some random dates in Jan 2018 too
