No More Snow

A while back I posted how I needed WDW cuz of the amount of snow we have up here in CT! Well I REALLY need it now. Jost got 18 more inches of snow this week, (total 60+) our driveway just got plowed out after two plow trucks got stuck. You really think of WDW when your out in thigh high snow at 1 in the morning shoveling out your plow truck!
I NEED heat, humidity, sun, even afternoon thunder showers. I NEED pools and lounge chairs. I NEED monorails and ferry boats. I NEED SM, TTA, JC, RNC, etc...etc....
I NEED some magic!! I'll even go in August!!!!! Anyone else?

Ahhh, yes

I'm totally with you on the snow. I can't even tell you how many times I had to break out the snowblower just this week!

Which is why I planned a trip for next month. BCR here I come!!

Was just saying the same thing on my Facebook...no more snow!!! it has been a brutal winter so far up here. Seems like we can't go a few days without getting slammed again with huge amounts.

Am so glad we are going to WDW in 42 days! At least it gives us something to look forward to; a light at the end of this snowy, cold tunnel if you will!!! :ROFLOL:

I TOTALLY agree with you!!! I been complaining about the snow since our first storm in December!!! We got another 16+ inches of snow this pass week and I'm here there is another possibility for a HUGE storm later this week!!! We have had close to 40 inches of snow since Dec 26th and its not even Feb yet!!! I'm so over the winter. Hurry up and get here August so I can not to DISNEY!!

AMEN! I am not one to complain about winter, especially living in W.mass.. it's part of life...but this winter has me DONE.. and guess what..it's snowing as I type. Even my kids are done...they have no desire to play in the snow anymore...not even fresh snow. I am going in August and right now the heat, humidity and sun sound amazing!

Oh Yes!!! Good for all of you that are going in the next couple of months! If I didn't have to purchase plane tickets to get there it would be more doable.
My trip isn't until Sept 2011 right before the NEXT winter..... going in August even with going snow crazy is not something I want to tackle, unless maybe the last week in August

I just keep playing my Disney music and looking at everyone's Disney pictures!

DITTO x100!! We just got a nother 12 inches this week, too. Another big storm coming Tuesday into Wednesday. Bein almost 9 months pregnant makes the snow really no fun, either.

We are headed to WDW this summer, too...will have a 2 1/2 year old (he is 2 today!!:sohappy, a 7 1/2 year old and a 5 month old. It will be tough but I ca nnot wait!! If I wasn't prego we'd be going this Feb. break...a day without a winter coat on would have been nice.

I feel you guys - We measured 24" on Thursday and I actually shoveled the street so I could get out. The driveway had 3 ft of packed snow. My husband said - the only place he wants to see snow is Blizzard beach!!!:ROFLOL:

I'm right there with you! I'm so sick of the snow! Just finish shoveling the roof off. Now I here there's more on the way NO>>>> please I need a WDW break!

Have been watching the weather channel regarding the ridiculous amounts of snow the Northeast has been getting. Very sorry for you all......now its our turn. The forecast is for 18+ inches Tuesday night in Northern Illinois. Northwestern Indiana is going to get possibly 24 inches.
Don't know which way this storm is going from here, but I truly hope it misses the Northeast...

I agree as someone that lives in CT also. Living where i live at least i dont have to shovel

One of our local elementary schools roof collapsed last week and the kids will have to be bussed to the neighboring town for the rest of the year. Both towns share a regional high school so it is doable. Another school gymnasium in another town is in danger of collapse also. I guess we sure have had way too much.
