No more free valet parking at disney luxury hotels

BTW, I've paid close to $30 a day for valet in Chicago.

Is $6 that bad when anywhere else you have to pay nearly twice as much for valet parking?

I think it is better to charge for something that is an option you don't really need than to start charging for World transportation.

Plus tipping should continue no matter what. These cast members are not going to see the $6 and probably won't get raises either.

I sent an e-mail to Disney World about this new fee. I received a call from a CM saying they received my message and that someone would call me to discuiss. I'll let you know what they say when I get the call.

The bottom line is that Disney is going to do what Disney wants and if that bothers some people enough to not go, then there will be plenty of others to take their places. At least, I think that's how Disney feels. Of course, I'm one of the ones who just can't stay away. I still feel the magic and it's just as magical every time I go, but.... if attendance continues to be lower than usual, maybe Disney will get the message that guests are tired of having special treatments taken away and tired of being nickled and dimed to death. Or...

...maybe it won't be long until we're all referred to as customers and the cast members become employees.
