No More Bread Bowls???

Yeah, they take a round bread loaf and take out the inside. Keep the top for the top, and fill it with C C!

Great for stew or spinich dip, too!

Well... if the bread bowls are indeed gone... then I no longer have a reason to go to the harbor house...

It was nice to go upstairs... get a table near a window... and eat my bread bowl... and people watch. *sigh*

They were good, but I will still go to the restuarant. Still the most peaceful quick service location in the park. I still love the fish/chicken combo they have there.

Is a little thread I started in dedication to Sam and AP. Someone else mentioned Family Auto Mart but I haven't seen those ads yet (but look forward to midnights on channel 27!)

Sorry to confirm this for you folks, but that is right. I went to order one in May and did not as I noticed it was in a plastic bowl.

I haven't had the bread bowl there, but I bet it was good.

Here's a question... did they decrease the cost of the soup or does it still cost the same even though the plastic bowl is probably a fraction of a penny in cost?

I'm willing to bet that it costs the same and was implemented as a cost savings method! I'm sure some bean counter figures that nobody would even notice!

Trust me on the African Stew at Mara in Animal Kingdom Lodge. It's in a bread bowl and DELICIOUS. You can get you bread bowl with a side of Disney.
