No maid service for DVC at Kidani Village?

I am staying at the Kidani Village second week of Feb at a a one bedroom studio. Apparently since we are technically staying as a part of the DVC maid service is a bit different. We will get new towels and toiletries on the 4th day of our trip but that is about it...well that's what I understood it as at least.

Can anyone elaborate as to what exactly we are entitled to during our stay? Is there any way I can get maid service or is that at an extra price? Thanks!

Are you paying cash or using points/renting points? If you are paying cash (not points) you will get daily service. If the trip is booked with points you get towels, trash cans emptied, and toiletries on the 4th day. They come back and do a full cleaning on the 7th day if you are staying longer than that. You can request daily service but it will cost you. I don't remember what the per day cost currently is.

Alright, thank you for the info. I mean if I don't get maid service its not that big of a deal to me.

Also as a second question....does the resort have a bar we can relax at?

Because you asked it in your original post, you can pay for additional housekeeping services. I know I've seen a listing online somewhere, but I can't seem to find it at the moment.

Animal Kingdom Lodge has a total of 4 bars:
-There are bars at the two pools (Kidani Village and over at Jambo House), pool bar hours may vary.
-Sanaa in the Kidani Village lobby has a bar.
-Over in Jambo House there's Victoria Falls off the lobby overlooking Boma.

EDIT: Found the pricing over on mouseowners.com
For full housekeeping service:
Studio - $25.00 per day requested
One-Bedroom - $30.00 per day requested
Two-Bedroom - $40.00 per day requested
Grand Villa - $60.00 per day requested

Trash & Towel - $10.00 per day requested.

There is also listed the 'Cape Town Lounge and Wine Bar' at Jiko, or overlooking Jiko, but I don't know exactly where it is? Can you just go for a drink, or is it a private wine room which is booked for functions, etc.?

I think to get maid is an extra payment.

Yes, you can just walk in to the bar/lounge area. It usally full of people waiting for their table at Jiko, but it is open for anyone.

It located at the entrance of Jiko. You have to almost walk through it to enter Jiko.
