I guess that makes sense. It was just rebuilt, and after people not working it for however many months something's bound to slip up, jut like anything new does. I'm sure the reason for its absence was venial. Should be back soon.

I'm sure there is a legit excuse...possibly some more tweaking, etc. We know she's done and operational. Hopefully we'll get a report from tomorrow's show or in the next couple days to confirm its back in the show.

At first I thought it was just a bunch of WDW-nuts that would notice the difference w/out the 'inferno barge'.
Then it happened.
I really could tell the difference on our last trip...

How could you not notice it missing? It's the second biggest thing in the show.

While at PI Saturday night I could hear some testing going on.

Now I'm probably just missing something (like half my brain), but... How can you hear it from PI? Maybe it's because I'm still half asleep that I can't fully comprehend that sentance.

Thats strange. I was at Epcot yesterday afternoon and it was definitly in the lagoon.
REALLY?! Now that is strange. Maybe the queue's weren't working, like when one of the fountain barges fails and they have to fly out there really fast to restart it. It happens, and I'd understand completely if the inferno barge wasn't working and they couldn't get out there to reset it. I mean, what happens when you reset it...extra crispy pyrotechnitions.

It will be in the lagoon for the next few days for more testing, no flame effects will be used. There will also be some work done on it as well while it's in the lagoon.

What is left to test? It looked great during the show just this past Sunday night.

I've watched IllumiNations from PI before. It's not too far past Cirque.

I could hear it from our condo last week, which was right across the street from Sea World. In fact, we could even WATCH Illuminations from our porch.

Tonight the inferno barge was there in all its glory. In fact it appeared to be working much better than it did before the accident. The flames seemed wider and higher to me.:)

Hmm.. how long has it been gone? We went in November, I didn't notice it then.. I hadn't really been but one other time back in 2002.. and I didn't see ROE at that time.. So I've never had the exerience of seeing the inferno barge.. Ah well, hopefully it'll be back in October.

It's been out since September, but having never seen it before is obviously why you didn't notice.
