No Haunted Mansion Holiday This Year

So it is or is not happening. Its too confusing.

It is 100% NOT happening this year.

As for not trusting anyone in the lower ranks... Some CMs like to make up stuff to tell guests.

I remember four years ago a CM told me (He was a manager too) that they were going to fill in the 20k lagoon and build a Little Mermaid Dark ride. And ya don't see that happening any time soon. :hammer:

Get used to it. The Disney Magazine published a while back saying that the Haunted Mansions Holiday will NOT be moving to Floridia for several years. It's sort of like what they did with the Main Street Electical parade. The MK will get it's chance to "borrow" it and tweek it to it's ride, but not for a while! It draws HUGE crowds here in CA during the slow fall season. I mean like 2-3 hour lines and fast passes that are gone by 1pm.

I was under the impression, that when HMH was first announced for DL, it was going to last a 5 year run. Now, since it's very popular, I don't know if that has changed. It would make sense to me, that after DL's 5 years, they move it to WDW (to save atleast a little money). I think this is Disneyland's 4th year coming up.

Any idea if it is posable for WDW to get the Holiday overlay for IASW in a few years, after the major referbishment?

I hope WDW can get the NBC overlay for HM. i heard about it and wish we could get it...

I was never saying you were wrong, Patrick. Im saying that it got delayed a year and that the money was instead allocated elsewhere. It SHOULD be here 2005. Or so goeth the rumors.

so do the people I know... and they've seldom ever failed me. Their take on HMH in Florida... it probably will happen... when is the question. No one knows... the had the money to do it last year... but it got pushed aside.... they had the money to do it this year, but shelved for something else.

They can do it... it's just a matter of when.
