Oh hey... but Disney did come down to Universal's level for one attratcion that I can remember... I distinctly rememebr thinking to myself "wow slap some 3-D glasses on this thing and Universla would build it in a hreatbeat..." if anyone remembers that horrid Millenium Village deal at EPCOT at the turn of the century... the Israel pavillion?? That simulator thing with the old story teller man? I rememebr wondering why the simulator thing was even necessary... there wasn't even a "ride" involved just a little movie. Anyway just a memory.

Testtrack321's thoughts v2.0! (bug fixes!)

-What's with the name? It seems lame and a cop-out. Is Wizzarding World even correct grammer? I think Univeral wanted to make sure people knew what was there, and market off of it.

-More and more info is coming out, it seems that LC is going bye-bye, but we're also getting new material too. I wonder how they'll treat the area near Poseidon's.

-I can see the visual & astetic segue working well from Jurrassic to HP, but what about Seuss to HP? Harsh jump IMHO, maybe we'll see some of Seuss reworked to make it a little darker with snow near HP to even it out more...

-What's going to happen to the resturaunt in LC? (I forget it's name)

It's been said several times already that Lost Continent isn't going anywhere. The northern portion of the land will be converted and become the entrance to Potter. Mythos (the restaurant) and Poseidon are remaining as they are and will still be part of Lost Continent. Potter will consume Dueling Dragons and Unicorn and build onto the access roads and buildings that are currently not open to guests. So you don't have to worry about the, "harsh jump" in themeing or any of the other problems you mentioned. One more time to set this straight, "Potter is a seventh "island" to the theme park and not just a retheming of Lost Continent. For proof just visit the Universal Potter preview page at http://www.universalorlando.com/harrypotter/index.html Click on the FAQ. It's all there.

. I love Disney but those people are missing out on Universal, SeaWorld and Busch Gardens which are some of the best theme parks in the world. quote]

In my case............ I HATE both Sea World and Universal. I know that's a strong word, but it's fitting. I just can't stand that animal fish stuff. I don't even like the aquarium at home. And Universal was so incredibly insensitive to us when we had a wheelchair guest, that I will NOT go back there, HP or not.

I am not upset in the least about disney not getting potter but universal getting it will create some sort of competition. And as we all should know any competition is good.

I am glad Disney is not getting a Harry Potter attraction. I enjoy the HP movies but am happy it's not going to WDW. I just never thought it would fit right. Glad for the competition and we will see what happens.
