haha, duh! :hammer: ok! thanks!!

I for one always bring gum with me to WDW. And I can say that I NEVER throw my gum anywhere but the trash. And to be nicer, I always rap it in a napkin or paper before throwing it in.

*awaits the gum spitter bashing*

You Know, what if I decided to walk, or even worse sit or lay down on that grass... It could get on my shoe, clothes, or even worse hair!!!!!

Pfft

I Must Say that I am Guilty of it too

I love gum, in fact, I'm chewing some right now!!! :D
It's a shame that they don't sell it at MCO, when I'm on an airplane, and it's taking off, or landing, my ears pop, and chewing gum helps.

I for one, am SO glad they do not sell gum anywhere on Disney property!! However, why, why, why do people have to bring it anyways???? I hate when people give the advice to BYOG. Why? Can't you stop chewing for the week or so that you are there??? How adicted are you? Have a mint or something, but keep WDW clean! And don't say "I always throw my gum in the trash", cuz someone MUST have put it on Splash and everywhere else it gets. Maybe your kids, maybe an accidental spit-out, whatever, but it wouldn't happen if you kept it home!

I chew it because I don't bring my toothbrush with me everywhere I go. 10 years in the dental field has made me into one of those crazy people  and there is nothing worse than that dirty teeth feeling! It's not about the breath- it's all about the teeth!

I have seen this at a Six Flags. It is really gross. There was a tree by one ride that was about 2 ft wide so, whats that like 5 feet around. It was covered with gum from the bottom to about 6 feet high. :hurl:

SWALLOW THE GUM! It will only take 7 years to digest it. :D

*hides the two packs of gum I bought tonight for our WDW trip this week*

I always travel with large amounts of gum. I'm quite fat enough, thank you, so when I feel the need to chew something, sugarless gum is a good alternative. Plus it's good for popping your ears on the plane.

Now, -retentive that I am, when I pull the gum from the wrapper, the wrapper goes back into my pocket. When done chewing, the gum goes from my mouth into the wrapper and the wrapper goes into the nearest waste receptacle. (There is NO TRASH at WDW!) TMI?

I agree with Willy Wonka. Chewing gum is a very nasty habit. It should not be done in public. It's almost as bad as walking around with your mouth open!

AND he kidnaps little kids and forces them to paint their skin orange and wear green wigs and do all his manual labor!?

I highly doubt this man is the end-all-be-all person on gum chewing with so many other freakish things hiding in his closet...

;) :p :hammer:

Mr. Toad, be glad that gum is the only thing covering your six flag trees. there is one neer the superman ride at six flags new england that has a tendancy to get not just gum but other rappers if you catch my drift. And to Bagheera, your not the only one. As a full flegged gum chewing addict I must always have the wrapper of the gum that I am chewing. I use half a stich at a time and throw it out in the original wrapper after about 6 hours of chewing or if i'm about to eat. now that's TMI!

urban myth

I happen to know that it only takes 2-3 days.
I was changing a diaper.
Couldn't figure out what on EARTH the kid could have eaten that was (still) pink.
Then I remembered the bubble gum someone had given him.

How's THAT for TMI???

I knew it didn't take 7 years or else I'd be up a creek without a paddle.

As for the pink stuff in the diaper.....does your chewing gum lose its flavor in the diaper overnight? :hurl:

Lol. Well if we watched MTV's big urban myth show we wouldn't have to identify pink stuff in diapers. lol Oh and I need my gum. Yes I have spit it out before but never on Disney Property. I need my gum though. I'm like addicted to it. The only time I went without it was 40 days for lent. Oh yes I did! go me!! :)
