I was hoping to ride Gran Fiesta Tour today..

Has anyone been to the park? Anyone know what's going on? Anyone know when merf will get to ride?

They told me it's going to happen later this week. They were painting today so i expect the poening on Wenesday. It was kind of disappointing to go all the way there for nothing. Well, actually i bought some pins, but still disappointing.

I was there at about 10:30AM and there people were already gathering in front of the Mexico pavillion. They opened the doors at 11AM and everyone ran to the Gran Fiesta ride just to find out that it may not open until later this week or early this week. It just topped off my very bad Disney day.

The only bright side of the day was meeting the Three Caballaros and then getting a little tipsy on Strongbow at Rose & Crown Pub.

Forgive any typos or misspellings. It's the Brits fault!

As soon as I saw the sign out in front of Mexico this morning I was just like, nooooo you've gotta be kidding me. There was no one standing around to even ask what the deal was so we just left.

As long as it is open by April 24, which is the first day we will be in EPCOT on our trip...although I am dissapointed that I can't see any reviews on it today. I was looking forward to signing on here today and seeing what people had to say about it. :(

That sucks, thought it was supposed to open the first of April. What a let down. Well I hope to go in May, better not be delayed more than the next couple weeks.
Though I will miss the old El Rio Del Tiempo song "La la la la la la la... la la la la la la... la la la la la, LA LA LA LA la...."
Freakin stays in your head ALL DAY LONG! ahhhh1
Oh and the Mexican lady following you out trying to sell you pinatas and pots and crap. hehe

Cheer up, at least you are at WDW.

A bad day at WDW is still much better than a great day at work. The only bright side of my day has been..... well..... I'm on WDW MAgic right now instead of actually working....

It's not open as previously mentioned. The temporary wall is also still up so you can't see a thing in there. I did notice that you can hear a new Donald Duck and 3 caballeros soundtrack playing near the restaurant. Not sure how long this has been going on, but I just noticed today.

I almost stopped after work today, and my roommate and I had already planned to go tomorrow I guess we can scrap those plans.

There hasn't been anything confirmed, unless I missed it, that the theme song has been removed from the ride. For all we know, it could still be there. I hope it is, I loved that song that I don't even know the words to. :o Like IASW, it sticks with you on the way out.

I actually *love* the song that's played on the ride, but I can't seem to download it anywhere! Does anyone know where I can d/l it, or even a name of it (if it has one?) thanks!

(does anyone else notice in a certain Ikea song, the background music is the same for the ride?)
