No 4:00 entry for MNSSHP?

Yep, and a lot of rather angry guests at the gate. This is going to cause quite a congestion at the entry as well as waste the better part of an hour to get the party on the move. We will see!

With the right amount of turnstiles open, the park greeters can get hundreds of people into the park within a matter of minutes. The congestion that forms is due to people not having their tickets out, people not putting their finger flat on the biometric scanner, family members switching tickets around, and people only using one of the turnstiles when there are 2 open for every gate.

Wow we never had a problem getting in at 4 or around that, we usually made ADR at Liberty Tree...
I think its like anything else you hear or read, when you get there you'll see for yourself!

Getting people in is only part of the problem. There will be hundreds possibly thousands coming out at the same time thousands will be entering.

Maybe, but you will never be able to avoid people being people hence you will always have that congestion no matter what if all must arrive at once. Until there are no humans left on earth, there will always be people not doing what they are suppose to, farting around being slow, not being ready, not paying attention, not able to get the ticket/scanner to work, not caring about others around them and so on. Therefore, Disney's best interest is to allow people to not have to all arrive at once for the party events.

I don't know who you are all talking to, but all of the Cast Member information still says 4PM this year. We have not been told otherwise and many CMs have already been spieling 4PM entry when selling tickets.

Does anyone have a source within Disney that told them this? I certaintly would like to know.

Well I sure hope its 4 pm entry. We have dinner plans at 5:45 so we can eat before the party actually starts. I honestly don't want to burn a days pass for 2 hours, but if thats the rule I guess I will have to. But I do see a mess at the gates, and even at the security tables more than the actual gates. I am going on Oct 31st and I sure the party will be a sell out. So the good thing is there will be plenty of parties before mine so I will know via here if its 4 or 7, then adjust my plans if I need to.

I read on another Dis ney forum that the 4:00 opening for the MNSSHP is confirmed. I am not sure about posting link from other sites and what not, but it had an attatched email response stating the fact that 4 pm entry will continue this year.
