We have booked the 9 dragons a couple times for our up coming trip, any reviews/recommendations?
I checked the site but there is only 1 current one.

The portions got smaller and the prices higher with the new menu, but we really enjoy it.

The General Tso's Dumplings are great! You can't go wrong with the honey chicken. We made several reservations for our upcoming trip. We have one picky child and he does fine with the sweet n' sour and our 3 year old loved the honey chicken.

In December there was a BIG mess up with our Candlelight Package and the only restaurant they could get us in was the Nine Dragons---Well it was the best meal we had our entire vacation!!! I had the sweet and sour pork and it was delicous!!! Actually was on the spicy side as well. The appetizers were all delicous as well. When I went back in April to celebrate my best friend's 40th birthday Nine Dragons is where we went again and it was just as fabulous!!!!Not to mention the outstanding service I received both visits. However on the flip side we ate at Restaurant Marrakesh and the food was horrible---under cooked and very very small portions. And the service was terrible, couldn't find our waiter most of the time and he forgot to bring out a meal!!! We put in a complaint as there were 6 of us so the tip was added automatically to our bill!!!!

DH and I ate here in May and we loved it. It was crowded, but even though we arrived about 20 minutes early for our ADR we were seated right away and the service was great. We'll go back here for sure!

My DH and I liked it. We went for lunch. Service was great - no ADR needed for lunch - walked right in. It was good stuff.

Great restaurant!! Ate lunch 1 day on our last trip and it was so nice and the service was so good that we then booked it 4 dinner for our last night in epcot!!! 2 Words - Honey Chicken :slurp::slurp::slurp::slurp::slurp:

Had dinner there last week. Excellent food and service. Make it late and if you're in the tables up front you can see Illuminations. Another advantage of a late dinner is that if you're going back to the bus stop and Epcot is closed, that walk around World Showcase and through Future World when the place is empty is magical.

I visited Nine Dragons for the first time after multiple visits to WDW about 3 years ago..and it was not all that special to me. It was a shame really, as i love Chinest/Asian food and decor...but i was not impressed with any aspect of the visit which was very surprising.

To be fair, i think part of the reason was i had very limited choices due to my diet ( Veg) and also i was on the 'Free Dining Plan' offer that trip. The combo surely limited the menu as all the tempting things i had read on the previous years' menus were strangely absent. So it was a little dissapointing.

I left feeling very relieved i did not have to pay out of pocket for the meal..as it was 'free' covered by the DDP....and also somewhat stunned that it was such a poor experience overall ( service wise also..).

I know this may have well just been a one-off...and i should go back and give it another try...but the memory of the previous experience ( and slim menu) makes me reconsider.

In a nutshell- Not a great spot for anyone looking for Veg options...surprising to me considering it is a Chinese/Asian resturant!

I just had lunch at Nine Dragons about 2 months ago and I have to agree that they have changed a lot over the years. A few years ago you could go and have an all you can eat lunch for a party of two, which was great because they had honey chicken as part of the meal, during that time Nine Dragons was my favorite Epcot restaurant. Today, I don't think I'll be heading back there for a long time. It wasn't a bad experience as far as the cast members or the atmosphere but the food has gone WAY down in portion size and WAY up in price. They did still have to honey chicken I loved so much but when it came out there was 6 pieces of chicken and a small scoop of rice costing about $13 a tray. So as long as you don't mind the lack of food, Nine Dragons is still a good Epcot restaurant.

My 2 visits there in July there must have been almost 20 pieces of chicken :slurp::slurp::slurp:

Like i said, probably a nice resturant for non-Vegs....

.....personally i find the food at the Lotus Blossom Cafe next door more my style and very yummy. I eat here for lunch every trip and have yet to be dissapointed.

When paying for it myself ( and not on a DDP) it is even nicer as the food is great and it is a lot more reasonably priced.

I REALLY really WANT to like Nine Dragons....i will have to get up the courage to go back and give it another chance.
