night-time rides?

What are your favorite rides to enjoy especially at night?

Thunder Mountain is in a completely different dimension at night...

I like the Astro Orbitor because of the lighting and Alien Encounter because you can actually see in and out of the windows at night.

Haunted Mansion is funner in the queue.

I wanted to try Jungle Cruise the other night but the wait was 90 mins and i didn't wanna miss the parade.

I like the monorail to Epcot at night.

The exterior of UoE is really nice at night, but rarely seen.

Haunted Mansion at night is the best. The should have fog machines out side to make it seem creepier.

Lets see.. Big Thunder Mountain... And The People Mover. WIth your loved one.. 0o0o00 lol... Yes i know they have cameras in every corner.. Splash MOuntain is pretty fun also!

Big Thunder is the best at night. The difference between riding it at night versus during the day is really like.....well.....NIGHT AND DAY!!

The Jungle Cruise is also much different at night and ToT has a somewhat different mood.

I think the general consensus here is that any "outdoor" ride is better/different at night. Obviously, CoP, Timekeeper, IASM and the Country Bear Jamoree aren't going to be that much better after the sun goes down. I heard Spaceship Earth is better at night though.

i find everything to be so much more fun to ride at night! but especially Big Thunder, Space Mountain, Jungle Cruise, but ESPECIALLY TTA and Haunted Mansion....riding HM at night just gives it that extra creepiness (if creepy is what you wanna call HM) cuz you KNOW it's dark outside!

Lest we not forget that outdoor shows - such as Shockwave - are also better at night. At least from my subjective point of view, this viewing time offers more vibrant colors via controlled lighting schemes which is a visual "sweetening" of the stage often lost in the daylight ...not to mention a break from the intense Florida summer heat (and rain).

Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion. Spaceship is cool too because of the night breeze, the almost unexistant lines, and how pretty Epcot in general looks at night. :animwink:

I love Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at night. And the view from on top of the castle-- beautiful!

I like riding Big Thunder Mountain and TTA. But.. I really like riding th resort monorail at night.. after park closing and checking out the hotels!

Big Thunder Mountain is cool at night. You get to see parts of the park all lit up. Plus you can see the fire burning on Tom Sawyer Island.

Test Track is kinda cool at night too. You can't tell the difference between the building and outside as much.

Favorite attraction at night?

There is alot of good ones, Haunted Mansion has the best que at night. Thunder Mountain is fun at night especially, Even Tower of Terror cause u can see the whole park lit up.

There are two that I love at night......
Tower of Terror is great because the dark adds to the spookiness of the ride and the thrill of the drops.
I also love Splash Mountain at night.....there is one part in the ride where you are going around the mountain slowly and you can see the castle. It's beautiful at night time, and it's the best when you can catch it during the fireworks.

Just thought of another one......Haunted Mansion.....makes it more scary!
