Hey Joel, do you know how long his first few loops took? I wonder if he's keeping a steady pace throughout.
I dont have the first few days of loop pace, but its been about 50 a day assuming he gets 350 by dinner time. He is right on schedule. Id like to see him at least 1 or 2 loops ahead, so those last few arent a buzzer beater.... but maybe he wants to make a dramatic ending. LOL... naaah, he just wants to finish I bet

Working off the first board pic, looks like 2:13, 2:32, 3:04, 3:32, 3:26 were his first 5 loop times. The other board pics are a little tough for me to read the numbers. Maybe one of the facebook guys or someone has access to better copies and can do the math.

But I'm thinking he is close to or just over 400 now?

Here's the latest from Mrs. Machine posted by Mrs. Machine at 7:45AM:

"All right everybody, today/tonight is the big push for Nick Storm Trooper Bautista! He has completed 370 and is on his way to 380. The plan is in place and its achievable...thanks TAC! Stay tuned, I will post when I hear more. 380 here we come! With Josh Dennis, John Dennis, NJshore Run, Irene Karakoglou-Hale, Jeff Seymour"

Sounds like took a few hours to sleep last night then? Since he was on 370 at 10 PM. Can't blame him at all.

All I can say is WOW!!!!! I just saw this thread and read all the way through. This is such an incredible accomplishment (500 miles or not) and must be quite a journey. Congrats to Nick for setting out on this quest and kicking its a$$. Hope the heat is not as bad up in the VT mountains, as it is hot and heavy here in Boston. Stay positive Nick, we're all pulling for you!

Is it just me or have these numbers become so unfathomable that I almost can't process the difference between 200 miles, 300 miles, 380 miles? They all blow my mind.

From snow and rain the first few days to heat and humidity the last few days, Mother Nature is giving Nick all she's got. It's a nail biter for sure, but my money's on Nick.

Last I saw he was at 395. Only a 100 miles to go! ONLY.... I can't even imagine running that far let alone 400 before. AMAZING!!

Yes, hard to comprehend and truly appreciate the hard work for so many months to get here. I agree and have the same thoughts as Nick about commitment. We cant stand when people make excuses about why they cant do something. You either do or dont do it. No excuses.

I bet he can taste it.... but stay focused Nick. 100 miles in 2 days. You got this!

Facebook via Marge Ascari: The Ultra running community is so unbelievable!! Nick Storm Trooper Bautista is heading towards 380 miles in his 500 mile race. 2 other 500 mile runners who dropped from the race have joined in to help Nick. Willy (who finished the race last year) dropped from his race but then came in to pace Nick!! Now Michelle has dropped to 400 and told her boyfriend and friend to pace Nick instead!!! These people have been on the move since last Thursday! This is how we get sucked into ultra running. We form these incredible bonds with people we barely know and we have each others backs. I can't think of any other sport where the athletes come together and support each other like this. It's just so unbelievably awesome!!

I am so impressed! It seems like Nick is picking up the pace, which is insane given the length of time he's been doing this and how far he's gone.

Go Nick!!!!!!!
