Its still hard to take Tampa Bay fans serious. I mean a city with newspaper that has to explain to their fans how the game is played is just hillarious.

We came out flat and y'all got two goals on blown calls. (Two Line Passes on that Dingman goal and the Lecalvier breakaway that just werent called). The puck doesnt always bounce your way.... Gotta love those goalposts - We hit both and the crossbar. So Buli was beaten, the puck just bounced your way.

Now.... for al you Tampa Bay fans. He's a word of advice. If youre in a sports bar, and youre watching hockey, and youre wearing a Golf hat, You will be made fun of if you try to talk Smack.

Its going to be 6 or 7 games. Its not a series, its a war.; Im still sayin that Tampa is a bunch of cherry pickin, cheap shot artists. Yet somehow it works....

Rob Esche Graduated from my high school? Can you name it? He was not the only current NHL player to graduate from this HS. As well as numerous College and Junior players (including myself:animwink: ) Oh yeah...Stanley Cup Final Prediction - Calgary and Tampa Bay...Calgary in 6. Clutch and grab hockey...NHL is going to hemorage money.:brick:

So the newspaper explains how the game is played. We just want to watch some hockey, not avalyze it to death.

If you are going to cry about a goal that you don't think sould have counted, at least get his name right. Cory Stillman scored.

And yes I think this will be at least a six game series. Why because Both teams are good.




















But the LIGHTNING are BETTER!

Dingman/Stillman, whichever. Both are no talent goons who are gonna get theirs before the series is over.

And the ref's admitted they blew the call on it; that it was a two-line pass. I'll be over it, now just realise that youve awoken the sleeping giant. Khabibulin is the only reason you wont that game, remember that. The last 1/2 of the 2nd period, he kept you in it. Him and Mr. Goalpost.

Tampa isnt all THAT.... when you play physically with them, they crumble - I give you the final 10 minutes of the 2nd and first minute of the 3rd period as evidence.

If Esche doesnt pulla 'Beezer, and the Refs make the proper offsides calls, we end up in OT.

You're just cranky cause you lost. And yes khabibulin was one of the key reasons we won. But he wasn't the only one Stillman, St. Louis, Fedotenko, Lecavalier, and Richards all did their part. I really can't talk to much about the game because I had to work(I had to work every time they have played in the playoffs) so I didn't get to see the game. And how dare you say that Stillman has no talent:fork:

All that matters is that Tampa won, Philly lost. It's a deserved loss mostly because of the miserable fans of that city, who deserve to have their sports teams lose every year. It really does not matter who wins, so long as Philly loses and their miserable fans are unhappy.

Oh please, while i know the Tampa Bandwagon has plenty of room - I've seen their attendance figures - Ive got Hockey Sweaters older than your entire team. But we've had this thread going for how long and youre just now Joining in, now that youre thinking you'll be on the winning side? Oh give me a break and go to universal; they appreciate that kinda 'Be on the winning side' mentality.

I missed most of the debate, or I'd have said something previously. As for the whole band wagan thing, while you're fairly right in that lots of tampa fans only support a winner,I've supported every team this city has had since their inception, or my birth in 1977, whichever came first. Only "favorite" team i ever rooted for besides a team from tampa was the Red Sox, and thats just due to the fact i have parents from Boston and we didnt get a team till a few years back. I supported the Bucs through their orange years, never cared about any other team, bucs were mine. Supported the Lightning since the Expo Center days, through the Suncoast and Thunderdome days all the way to the Ice Palace and St. Pete Times Forum days. Follow the Devil Rays every game now and they are hardly in a position to have bandwagon fans, and even went to several Mutiny, Rowdies, and Bandits games until they all folded. So your bandwagon argument will fall flat with me sir. The fans in Philly are without a doubt the worst in any city any where. I'm sure your fans would easily beat up any tampa fan, because that the level of scum they all are, and thats why the sports gods frown upon you ever year. Any time you cheer players being injured, and boo when they get up is just 1 example of why philly fans are the worst of the worst, and why i cheer every loss that they suffer, and loved tampa closing out the Vet with a win, and starting off the new stadium off right with another blow out! Tampa teams may not always be better than Philly teams, but ANY fan is better than a Philly fan.

Better Late than never!

At least our fans stay to the end of the game. They don't walk out with 11 minutes left in the game. Besides, Philly fans are mean and dirty(maybe you are different), but I've seen Philly fans curse and swear, and I mean every other word is *** or ****and ****, so much they got kicked out.

So lets take some drunk Phlliy fan and a sober Lightning fan and see what happens:lol:

If pro hockey wasn't turning into such a clutch and grab sport in the play offs so that the real teams like Detroit and Dallas can't make it past the second round, then Philly and TB wouldn't have to worry about each other, only the common adage of whoever makes it out of the east eventually will lose to the team out of the west.

I just moved it from the 20k thread not chit chat. Sorry that it doesn't make sense, but the NHL playoffs don't make much sense in WDW New and Rumors either.
