Last time I was at Pop Century, they had a lifeguard on duty all hours the pool was open. This was in early Feb during non-peak season. I would imagine that if they had a guard on duty at Pop Century for all the budget minded people, that they would have one on duty no matter what the hour was at GF for all the much more wealthy guests...

The GF has a quiet pool also. I don't think the quiet pools have lifeguards, at least they didn't at Coronodo Springs.
I have not heard what time this happened, but once the pool closes and the lifeguards leave, there is nothing to stop people from going in to the pool.

All I know is that if I were in the NFL I would want him as my agent----SHOW ME THE MONEY!!! I've actually seen him several times and I call him Jerry Mcquire. He is actually a very funny guy.

With all the bad pub about WDW being dangerous this doesnt look good for the Resort. The fact that a guest had to save a child in a pool at its flagship resort is not what WDW needs right now. That coupled with the reputation Rosenhaus has I wouldnt be surprized if Disney was all over the security video of this incedent.

I heard him being interviewed on ESPN Radio and he said, "I always wanted to be a hero. I'm just glad that when the opportunity came I was able to come through." I only heard it once, so forgive me if the wording isn't precise, but the meaning was clear enough: Young boy not breathing=great opportunity for Drew Rosenhaus. Pathetic excuse for a human.:fork:

I think that boy and his family and wdw management would disagree with you completely. He is that boy's hero.

I hope everyone inspires to be a hero in someone else's life one day. Weather it is by saving their life or by being a good friend/influence.

There are some radio talk show hosts here in Philly that actually think it was staged. I dont like the guy but to say it was staged is a little over the top. I know the guy is a weasel but to stage a drowning??? In this case he did a great service. The important thing is that the boy is OK.

Its getting national speculation too. The man has been a fraud his whole career. Why should now be any different
