Dallas takes down Seattle on the road! Only the 3rd 2nd time that's been done with Wilson as the starting QB!

The Falcons....many say the defense is our problem!! 13 points from our offense...no sustained drive...zero points in the 4th quarter for the 4th game in a row...

Victor Cruz carted off the field, sobbing along the way. Even though he's burnt my team more than his fair share of times, you have to feel bad for him.

The Cruz injury is extra salt to the wound in tonight's game! I'm more irate than Jon Taffer was in tonight's Bar Rescue episode, especially towards the weak, cowardly offensive line. Believe me, if I'm head coach of the Giants, I'd have zero problems allowing my players to throw teammates under the bus because if that doesn't motivate the players to do their job, what will?!

I hate to be negative but I already feel like the Giants season is over. They've played 3 playoff teams this season, and were blown out twice (Philly and Detroit) and were sloppy in a loss vs Arizona. Now our wide receiving core is in even more trouble, with Cruz being the fourth one placed on IR this season. Next week is a must win against Dallas, but with the way both teams are playing, I don't see that happening.

Forget the playoffs for the moment. It's too far to project right now. The key now is for the Giants to improve that shaky offensive line and find another option for Andre Williams in case Rashad Jennings is unable to come back. Last night, Jennings' absence was largely felt. Williams at the moment can't be the number one guy. He hasn't proven it to me all season long. From a receiving aspect, it's pretty obvious Beckham, Randle will have to step up and Corey Washington needs to get involved. I am surprised Washington hasn't been used very much all this season. I assume one of the three, presumedly Beckham because of his speed, will fill the slot receiver position Cruz normally takes. But the offensive line, I hope every single one of them got a Gordon Ramsay like verbal beating and a large punishment for their bad performance. Another bad game and I will call for Pat Flaherty's head! (That's the Giants offensive line coach for those who don't know.)

As for the defense, they won't stand a chance if they let Murray run all over them. You know Dallas watched that game last night and I bet Murray will get at least 30 carries knowing how poor the run defense is for the Giants. Again, they have to defend better and not be so vulnerable without pressure. Powerless without pressure are three words I have stated so many times that best summarize the Giants defense. Someone on the defensive team needs to make plays other than JPP and Antrell Rolle. I'd use Damontre Moore for a lot more plays to compensate JPP. He's been grossly underused by Fewell and that ticks me off.

And by the way, this classic clip sums up how I really feel about the Giants:

As a long-time Giants fan, I must say this loss was one of the most disappointing and awful performances I've seen in a while. In fact, I felt almost as bad waking up this morning than I did waking up the Monday after the "Miracle at the Meadowlands". Honestly, as big as an upset it was that Dallas beat Seattle, it would be an even bigger upset if somehow the NYG come down to Texas and beat the Cowboys. Not that I think that would happen, not after losing 27-0.
Edit: I forgot to mention VC's injury. Hearts and prayers go out to him, and I wish him a speedy recovery.

So it turns out on the fake spike, Aaron Rodgers was "free-styling". He looked right, saw the defender was way off, and he decided to fake it without telling anyone.

A poll given to randomly selected Americans in all states has determined the 10 most liked teams.
1. Denver Broncos
2. NY Giants
3. GB Packers
4. Dallas Cowboys
5. Pittsburgh Steelers
6. Seattle Seahawks
7. SF 49ers
8. NE Patriots
9. Chicago Bears
10. NO Saints
No surprises there, although I do think Dallas and New England would be high up on a most disliked team rank as well

Definitely no surprise there. Whenever we get random catalogs in the mail and they have sports gear with limited teams available, those are the teams.

"The Giants are #2" is also a way to describe their performance Sunday night.

Just made my picks for this week. Some more tough picks... NO/DET, TEN/WAS, HOU/PIT. You just never know what team is going to show up with a few of those guys.

New Orleans on the road... against a stout defense. Detroit...
Washington can put up points and if they aren't playing from behind.. they won't throw all those picks. Washington
Houston/Pit is tougher. Pitt is under alot of scrutiny after the last games.. and they have L Bell against a really poor Houston run defense. I put the money on Pitt based on Bell alone.
