Matt Schaub will start for the Texans this week as Case Keenum has been placed on IR with a thumb injury.

Thad Lewis will start for the Bills as EJ Manuel is out with injury. HC Doug Marrone said he is 110% confident that Manuel will be ready for the final game of the season against the Patriots.

Question: My family will be in South Carolina on Sunday. My parents are looking for a way to watch the Ravens game online since it's not being shown locally. Does anyone know of any online pay per view services? Otherwise they'll have to go to a bar to watch it. Thanks

Lovie Smith reportedly interviewed for the Texans head coaching position on Monday. They have a couple other candidates on their list including former Cardinals HC and current Chargers OC, Ken Whisenhunt.

Aaron Rodgers is expected to return Sunday. Will help Green Bay a lot
I'm curious where you're hearing this. I've read many different reports today. Some have been optimistic, and some have been pessimistic. According to Rodgers himself, he has a sense of what the answer will be tomorrow - his expression didn't make it sound positive.

It's funny listening to people debate his injury, though. Kurt Warner said that they should shut him down because they have no chance of beating the Seahawks, 49ers, or Saints. I'm kind of disappointed to hear a former player pretty much telling a team to give up. I like Kurt, but that's like saying they should have shut him down to keep him healthy the year they went to the Super Bowl (Cardinals). They were 9-7 and were practically the worst team in the playoffs.

I saw on ESPN and bleacher report that McCarthy said that he has a good chance at playing. You're a Packer fan so you'd obviously know more but that's what I heard at least

I think the line that they are referring to is that "He looks ready to play." I took that as he looks ready to play, but the risk of reinjury could still be too severe. I'm not sure what to think. He still has to be medically cleared (which he knows the answer to at this moment). McCarthy is holding a press conference in about 15 minutes.

As the facts change, so does my mind.....

Looks like the sole challenger to Denver for the top seed is KC. Even if they choke one of their last 2, nobody outside the west is catching them.

All the teams currently slotted outside the West, along with Miami, can get themselves as high as the 2 spot, and (with the exception of the South winning Indy) can find themselves on the outside looking in. If Miami, Baltimore, NE, Cincy, and Indy all finish 10-6, Miami wins the East and takes the 2, Baltimore takes the 3 (due to Indy making it a recordwise 3 way tie which wipes out the Baltimore win over Miami as a tiebreaker), Indy takes the 4, Cincy takes the 6, and NE goes home. And with the way everyone is playing, nobody is a lock to win or lose a game regardless of where it's played and the team they play.

Seattle looks like the best team - by far - right now.

Once you get to the playoffs, anything goes. But I do agree that the Seahawks look like the best. I think the 49ers, Saints, and Packers could all challenge them, though. The Packers are on the list assuming they get to the playoffs and have Rodgers back. If they can get those two things, they are looking like the hot team heading to the post season, and we know how dangerous a team like that can be. However, if they don't get Rodgers back for the playoffs (if they did make it), I don't think they have a shot.

For AFC, it's a toss up. The Ravens look like they are getting hot again, but I don't know if they can get 2 in a row. The Patriots, Bengals, Broncos, and Colts have all struggled within the past few weeks. It seems like some of them are running out of gas. The Dolphins I can't put my faith in - I just can't. If I had to choose one, I'd probably go Bengals, but that's just pretty much a random pick right there.

Looks like weather could be another big factor this week. Probably not the the extent of a couple weeks ago, but still a factor. The Packers game is expected to have snow and below 20. If I'm not mistaken, it could be a pretty good snow storm in Green Bay.

The playoffs are going to depend on match ups so much. That's why home field is so huge for some of these teams like Seattle.

49ers are the team I'm worried about getting hot.

The afc is 'any given Sunday' right now. You need a team with running to beat the broncos . So that's gonna depend on match ups.

The colts have been off the radar for weeks...
