Merriweather should have been penalized for some of those hits. With the new rules, you're not allowed to lead with your head... something he did multiple times. And those hits led to two players getting concussed.

Great day for the Packers. Stats won't show how good our defense really was today due to the second half where we were in "bend but don't break" mode. Our running game produced a 100 yard rusher! Last time we did that was in 2010 against the Redskins. Rodgers had a career record (and tied Matt Flynn for a Packer record) 480 yards passing. 300+ yard passing in the first half, simply outstanding. Our receivers look unstoppable. Nelson, Cobb, Finley, and Jones look like a deadly threat. Starks also did a solid job receiving. Great overall day!

Anybody else notice this on Fox? I saw it on TV and got a laugh.

Still trying to get a feel for what teams are like this season. Hopefully I'll improve my picks week to week.

Aggravating game to watch as a Giants fan. That last pick was one of the luckiest interceptions I've seen. Bounced of his cleat into the defenders hands

Looking at the pick'ems now. I hope all of these teams can maintain their leads. Cardinals oh so close, but the Lions have potential to be explosive.

Looks like my Giants are heading to 0-2. The run game absolutely killed us, as well as no pass rush. How we can't get any pass rush with the guys we have beats me. Next week is now officially a must win against Carolina.

I can't remember such an up-and-down team as the Giants. One season they win the Super Bowl, then they miss the playoffs a couple seasons, then they win the Super Bowl, then they miss the playoffs. Normally a Super Bowl winner is consistently in the playoffs.

Falcons have @ Miami 09/22, New England Sunday Night 09/29, and New York Jets Monday Night 10/07, in consecutive weeks...and we are all banged up. Might equal last year's loss total by week 4...

Agreed. Nothing's improved from what I've seen! The red zone offense is inept, they still can't run the ball, they can't convert 3rd downs and the defense can't make a play! Powerless without pressure is what I've seen ever since Fewell was DC and that's not going to win many football games! My patience is growing thin with Killdrive and Fewell on the staff. Anything short of a title should mean both of those guys getting the pink slip in my book!

I was wondering why the NO/TB game was so delayed. There was a lightning delay for anyone who doesn't know. Won't affect the pick'ems at all since we all picked the Saints. :p
