Seriously can't stand that guy. His college play might get him by Atlanta, but no way the Patriots will fall for it again.

There are so many ego maniacs in the NFL. Now granted, I'm bias as a Pats fan, but did anyone notice when Watt shut down Ridley one time yesterday, Watt staring him down and waving his finger at him for a good 7 seconds? Later, Ridley walks right over him and scores a touchdown, and doesn't even look at Watt. Some guys have class, and others, don't.

BTW, am I the only one who really dislikes Kapernick, or whatever his name is? He's not as big of a tool as JJ Watt, but he's pretty damn irritating. Once he plays a defense that can shut down the college style offense, he's screwed.
Are there any good defenses left? I know Atlanta's is not, neither are the Ravens; What about New England?
Falcons gave me a heart attack today. That was an intense second half. I feel pretty confident about next week as long a Nolan lights a fire under our defense. The way they played in the second half was just humiliating.
Did you happen to watch the offense? It looked like the game was over AFTER we scored with 2 mins and change left in the 3rd quarter to go up 27-7! Then 27-14, followed by an interception into double coverage on a play they had Harry Douglas alone on an underneath route. Then 27 -21. 9:13 left Atlanta ball, 3rd and 13, 6 yard pass completion, 3 and out.

7:23 left Seattle ball. 2 plays,1st down Seattle. 6:40 left, 3 plays, Seattle punts! DEFENSE MADE THE STOP!!

5:40 left Atlanta, 1st play 12 yard gain by Turner followed by 3 plays and punt (3rd down incompletion to Roddy would not have been a 1st down if caught). Seattle ball 3:09 left, you know the rest.

Atlanta traded for Julio so they could out punch and must score in the 30s to have any chance of winning with that defense they trot out. Again, they made the stop when they had to and the offense couldn't run out the clock, or drive for a clinching field goal. Instead they did it the hard way and I'll take it!!

They actually caught break with the touchdown was confirmed as it left more time on the clock. And after that touchdown, what were they thinking:

1) Returning the kick off and using 6 of the 31 precious seconds
2) Calling time out with 13 seconds instead of running the clock down

Worked out anyhow!!

Yesterday was the 3rd time (Oakland, Carolina) this year that we have won in the final seconds. Those 3 would have been losses in years past.

I'm a Jags fan, been ready for the draft since pre season :(

I'm ready to see what happens with the Packers this off season. I expect some people to leave like Jennings and Driver, but there are some uncertains like Cedric Benson, Jermichael Finley and Charles Woodson.

As for the draft, I hope they go O-Line in round 1, D-Line in round 2, and trade up for Montee Ball or another RB in the second or early third round.

Like Barry Sanders. He was a class act. For all of the success and touchdowns he had in his career, he never did a TD celebration or anything like that. Now some guys it's okay when they do their TD celebrations. People like Aaron Rodgers and Tim Tebow do it without intent to anger the other team. Whereas guys like Watt, Cortland Finnegan, and Kaepernick do it to get the other team upset.

Pats will be fine. The loss of Gronkowski will be made up by Shane Vereen( I know he's a RB, but he can still catch). Brady will be Brady, and the defense will step up. Brady's getting his 4th ring this year.

As an avid SanFran fan I am not fond of him but is surely what the team needs at this hour. He is another RGIII or Mike Vick or Newton. He in an oustanding fashion but does not have the smarts or maturity to build a career job in the NFL. He will fall with an injury.

This is what I see happening more than likely. They proved they can go on without Gronk on field.

We have 3 teams who repeated making the championship teams. The only difference is no Giants. Being a Giants fan, I'm disappointed we took a step down, but they're probably saving their effort to win the SB next season at home :P

I'd settle for us having a new coach...didn't Emery say by January 19? I don't see that happening. After a coach we can move forward with whatever.

I can't stand Victor Cruz's salsa dance or Foster's bowing to the crowd. Ugh.

Yeah, whatever happened with the Bears coaching? They interviewed everyone in the country and then went to Canada. I've seen all of the other teams with front runners for their HC position except for the Bears.

I have no idea what's going on in the front office. Don't think they do, which is par for the course. I hope this doesn't turn into like it does with our picks..."oh let's just wait and see". Sometimes, well, most of the time, I do not understand our front office. I know that Singletary is not in the running. He's proved he's not made out to be a head coach. Great player, decent DC but not a head coach. We need an OC as a head coach and leave Rod where he is.

We had the largest pool of names. Perhaps that's the problem.

Love to hear Eddie Lacy's name called when the Falcons pick in the second round....probably won't last that long and might even be grabbed in the late first round. That said, we need D-line, Linebackers, followed by O-line first. Still would love to hear his name called and wouldn't mind a Tight end early.

Now that all my teams are out of it, I wash my hands of football this year. Good Luck to everyone who's teams are still in play.

But those damn 49ers look tough to beat.

Now pardon me while I cry over a CFL coach getting the job for the Beloved.

Jimmy Thick- Now we need a offensive line...Somehow...

I honestly didn't see it coming. I was pulling for Ariens. I guess Jimmy Johnson was right. I hope Mr. Trestman does us good. Please keep coach Rod!
