What do you all think of having a wdwmagic newsletter? I would love to contribute!

I guess it'd be cool, but what about content? Would it talk about threads? Because I don't think we have enough confirmed news on a weekly basis to justify a newsletter...

But I'm all for it!

Maybe it could come out once every month or so. I could get some members to post additions about a new ride,great wdw tips, resort discounts, important news, rumors, and some wdwmagic family forum news....maybe some other stuff.....

We have the forums, and the main page of the site. A newsletter isn't really needed. I get enough E-Mail as it is. lol

There used to be an email list from steve....at it's peak you got a few hundred emails a DAY. Not a good idea.

I saw you guys talking about it somewhere... It was more like a discussion list, right? Because what Disney4648 is talking about, at least to my understanding, is more of an informative letter.

My view is this....we have all the info right here....plus these boards with more rumors than we'll ever need :lol:

I guess I just don't see it as a necessary evil

Anything that needs to be said has a place here...we all can read at our convenience then.

I agree....what can a newsletter provide that can't be provided here?

Well, I don't think it'd be extra-information... You know like you have this site about comics, and they update it on a regular basics, and if you sign in for their newsletter you receive an e-mail once a week with the best articles that were published.
So here it'd work with the best threads of the week, with a sample of what's been discussed in them. For example, I don't check every single section in the forums, so maybe I'd like to know that there's something cool being discussed in Disneyland.
