Newbie-2 adult,3 young kids, where to stay?

We're planning a trip to DisneyWorld for late April '05, we have 3 kids, twins 5 and a 3 year old. We heard good things from a friend of ours about the All-Star Movies where they recently stayed but when I checked, the capacity is 4 per room. Does anyone break that rule or do I have to stay someplace else such as the Port Orleans-Riverside where they have the extra trundle bed?

Thanks in advance! :)

We have actually stayed there before and liked it but this time we want to experience staying at a Disney Resort.

Hello...we stayed at Pop Century with 2 little kids on this vacation and we were CROWDED. After 4 nights we moved about a mile up the road to Holiday Inn Family Suites (barely off Disney property) and it was wonderful. I'm sure you probably want to stay on property, but this particular hotel was perfect for our family. The kids loved having their own room with bunk beds and all that, and in the bunk bed room there is a 3rd bed that folds out of the wall, so that room can actually sleep 3. Also, we were able to park right next to our room, which was helpful with 2 little kids and diaper bags and all kinds of stuff to lug around. While we stayed the 4 nights at Pop Century it was SUCH a pain to have to walk so far back and forth to the car. Plus there's a free breakfast buffet each morning!

You should check it out. I found it to be a perfect resort for parents with young children. And the proximity to Disney was wonderful (the entrance sign for Disney was seriously RIGHT by the hotel). Here's a link: http://www.hifamilysuites.com/indextourb.html

I was going to recommend the Fort Wilderness Cabins. Looks like a couple people beat me to it. You can usually find some kind of deal for any time of the year on mousesavers.com. This would be my recommendation since you can save money by preparing your own meals in the room or on the grill outside.

My patented question and answer and response...

Father Ted, how long are you going?

Because it might behoove you (yes, I said behoove) to get at least one annual pass, and take advantage of the available AP discounts on rooms, OR better yet, a FW cabin.

Plus, as it's been mentioned, if you get a cabin, you could also ssave money by making many of your own meals.
