Cool. Looks fun. Can't wait to use 9/26 :D Am I missing something, can I delete ride counts without deleting my user status ?

Yes you can.

On the COUNTER tab, select the user, then the park and attraction, in the list of all the rides for that attraction, swipe left-to-right, and you'll see the option to delete that entry.

Seeing as how I am an Android user, I am absolutely devastated that there will be no Android releases from WDWMagic in the foreseeable future. I agree with what a PP was saying, why not make the Ride Counter app a mobile-friendly site somehow that is compatible with Android? I really hate how the iPhone seems to dominate everything, but my EVO is so much better than the 3GS I used to have. :) Oh well, looks like for now, I will have to stick with Touring Plans since they have an Android app. :)

One suggestion: add a feature to "prime the pump" with an existing count.

This app is going to be extremely handy for counting my son's rides on SWSA (he is currently up to 3,104), but to use this app I have to sit here and manually click the Count button that many times to get it up to current.

Very nice job on the app!

Was thinking about your son the other day. Glad to hear the count is still increasing.

He didn't want to go much over the summer, which really I can't fault him for. Way too hot and crowded. Lately he has become fascinated with the Fantasia store inside the Contemporary, to the point where he would rather hang out there and look at the giant figures than actually go to the park.

But now that it is starting to cool down and the crowds are thinning out, I expect he will be back to riding SWSA in earnest very soon.

Just downloaded this app and now must wait until March to try it out. Looks pretty cool though Steve...thanks for sharing it with us.

Yes you can now count specific monorails, specific boat and even bus rides.
The new version will appear automatically in your AppStore UPDATE tab on your iPhone. Available today!

Awesome update Steve, just got the update. I was only thinking of the monorails and here you go and add ALL of WDW transportation. Can't wait to get back and use. As if my thumb wasn't sore enough from the 1st version.

It would be really cool if the app allowed for "ride count history" (or something of that sort) wherein it would display the order of attractions you hit for a particular day. This would be really helpful for trip report purposes, as often I forget what order we did things. I try to counter this by snapping a photo of the attraction's entrance before we enter, but I don't always remember to do this.

Steve, any plans to port it to Windows Phone 7 when it's released in November?

At the moment we are only developing for the iPhone due to it having the most users and active app store. Once Windows gets going we'll see if we can get something running. The big problem with these apps is they are very time consuming to produce - in the case of for the iPhone, it's proper programming, not high level point and click stuff.
