My opinion? TDO will not build any new resorts in the near future. They will continue their current MO and continue to concentrate on DVC. Repurpose/add to current resorts.

This was exactly my first thought when I read the OP's title and original post..but it's nice to dream.

A pedestrian bridge across World Drive would have to be plenty big, but stranger things have happened. The region just north of canal L-402--at the northern extremity of the construction access road shown in the "DHS Permit" thread--would be the place to look for a connection between the "Studios West" site and HS, coming in around where Catastrophe Canyon is now. In any event, a "Studios" resort with a pedestrian connection is an intriguing concept.
