New to DVC and question about DCL

Hi All

My wife and I are in the process of waiting for our paper work to finalize being a DVC member.

I had a question I wanted to see if someone can help me with.

Last April while on a 3 day Disney Cruise my wife and I signed up for a September 2011 Mexican Rivera Cruise. Once we get our points downloaded to us can we move our reservation over to DVC and use points for one or both of us. We have only put a seposit down on the cruise....

We also got a 200.00 cruise credit since we signed up on the cruise so will that still be good??

Congratulations on taking the plunge.

I think (could be wrong) that there are only a fixed amount of rooms on any given cruise for people looking to use DVC points. So if your cruise has already given out the rooms allotted for DVC members, then you're out of luck. Likewise, I doubt using DVC points will still give you any promotional offer you may have received by using cash. But best way to find out for sure is to call your dvc agent once your contract is finalized.
