Too many princess character meals already. Do a Pixar one or Star Wars one.
I agree, their are plenty of princess meals but none of which you can meet Tiana, Merida, Mulan, Pocahontas, or Rapunzel... those are actually the only princesses I really care to meet.:D

I'm kind of surprised there aren't more character meals, especially when you consider a: how many fanbois would want to go to every available meal like collecting baseball cards or alternative EW/TV Guide covers or whatever else people like to collect, and b: how many characters there are that are rarely seen. Diehard Disney fans would make the trek to POFQ if there were a Tiana themed character breakfast. And imagine themed meals at value resorts - even outside events ala the Mickey's Backyard BBQ at Fort Wilderness - featuring rare or infrequent characters. A Robin Hood/Jungle Book lunch at Pop Century? Tell me people wouldn't slop that up with a side of biscuits! Especially if they include a side of biscuits! But even if they had to rotate the characters, or rotate the location, All Stars Sun-Tue, Pop Wed-Thu AoA Fri-Sat, or only have these meals a couple of times a week versus daily there would be a demand, they'd get top coin and they'd get tons of positive PR from the fans "thanks for finally letting me meet Tramp & Bagheera and the Great Mouse Detective.

I would love a Tiana's place restaurant. New Orleans food, Jazz Music, maybe an audio animatronic Louie leading the band. I thought it was a great movie, and it would be great to see it more represented in the parks.

agreed! Just look at how many people were willing to pay $50+ for meals at Sci-fi & Hollywood and Vine for the Star wars meals.

Tangled and Tiana seemed to be lost in the shuffle at disney. If I recall Tiana did well but not amazing and Tangled - I did not follow at all. I still do not understand the tangled area in the new fantasyland - a Tiana area would have been nice. But you are right, I fully expect in the next 5 years a Frozen attraction.
I think tiana did about 270 million at the box office I think that is when Disney said might not be the best idea to put princess In the title. Tangled was supposed to be called Rapunzel but switched after princess and the frog came out. I like princess and the frog a lot but marketing for the movie was bad . I have said for a couple years they need to make the restaurant.

Even if they would just allow Tiana or other characters from the movie to show up at one of the restaurants. For instance, when my (now almost 25 y/o) daughter was 6 they had pocahantas characters at breakfast at least at WL. They could easily have the Princess and the frog characters say at boatwrights at por.

In addition to closing "redundant" table restaurants on adjacent resorts (with Ariel's at BC also closing), Bonfamilie's was closed back in the early (ahempressler) 00's, when POFQ itself was on the verge of closing.
You-Know-Who, who'd came up with the idea of a romantic "grownup" resort, was now trying to come up with excuses to bury a resort "the kids weren't coming to", and when Shades of Green needed somewhere to house its guests during rehab, there were rumors of temporarily taking over the resort and, erm, quietly not bringing it back when they were finished and keeping it as a military resort.

I'm proud to say, we POFQ lovers put a stop to that idea loudly and publicly, back when we were only a silent minority. :D (The SoG guests were housed at Contemporary Gardens instead.) If half the people here who this month had to give up on POFQ since they couldn't get free dining can't believe that the resort was ever "unwanted", we've worked hard to come a long way.
Now that it's been "redeemed", seems like it'd be a good time to bring back the table restaurant, even on a small scale. With or without a Tiana theme, wouldn't mind a little newly chef-specific Creole/N'awleans cuisine, as compared to the general southern cooking at Boatwright's.

Bring back the great breakfast at Boatwrights also, instead of that horrid food court. Agree about Bonfamilies, bring it back too princess frog theme or not. These are hotels Disney in case you have clearly forgotten and your not serving your guest with options like you use to. :banghead: They cant be that expensive to operate especially after extra revenue from sales if they were open again. And yes its still Dixie Landings and Port Orleans to me. :p

And while we're at it, it would be wonderful if Ariel's were reopened to the public. The space is wasted on the once-in-a-blue-moon wedding reception or private event.

That is whats missing is a good cajun themed resturant - I would be for it. But I doubt Tiana will get any love - its all about Frozen
If there is a Frozen restaurant, all the food should be frozen. Frozen fish, frozen vegetables, frozen tv dinners, and all must be served up yum with freezer burn. The waiters have to be very frosty in their demeanor, and the temperature of the restaurant is not allowed to rise above freezing, even if an octogenarian complains.

Oh yeah, and to get back on subject, a Tiana restaurant would be a lot of fun. It might make more sense in Disneyland, replacing the restaurant now overlooking Pirates.

I do not know what kind of frozen food they could serve. I do not recall any of the characters eating or drinking anything in the movie except for the coronation part. An attraction makes much better sense. I saw the frozen offerings for the 24 hour event and they look terrible.
