new things to do

I've been to WDW 20+ times and have done the same things over and over, don't get me wrong I love what's there but I was wondering if there were some different/unique things that tour families do that isn't what most Disney goers do, or some cool things to look for or see(like FSU thing in splash) stuff like that.

We are planning on playing mini golf, doing the unDiscovered Future World tour, and going parasailing on our December trip. Maybe you could do one of those?

I always try to find something new to try, be it small like an attraction we normally pass by or take one of the firework cruises for Wishes or Illuminations. A couple years ago we tried MNSSHP for the first time and last year we rented a pontoon boat for a few hours from the WL. Yes, sometimes these "new" things can cost some money but we try to keep the more costly things to one a year.

Ok excuse my mad sense of humour but here's some daft stuff we do. At haunted mansion while standing in the room just before the doors open to the doom buggies. When the lights go out.Me and my DS let out a yell and I swear there's always someone in the room yells out too. Also do the same on POTC just as you go down the dip,we let out a scream and other old behind us do the same.Told you I was mad.:)

There are so many tours and special experiences! What tours have you done? If none, Keys to the Kingdom is great! You can go spend the day at Fort Wilderness canoeing and riding bikes. You can rent a cruiser or go parasailing. The Behind the Magic tour is for Disney junkies! I have been told that you could spend a year at WDW and not do everything. I hope one day I get to put that to the test! hee hee

Good question. Sometimes we get caught wearing our Disney blinders that keep up trapted in the parks Try taking a carriage ride in POR or fishing at the fishing hole. POR even has smores night. Some resorts have movies on the lawn. Fort Wilderness has campfires. So many off the beaten path things to do! Enjoy!

I proudly do the same! While going down all all rides drops, I yell on the top of my lungs, even if its a miniscule drop

We tend to do things that have become part of our family's tradition, but every year try to incorporate something off the beaten track. For instance, we have never been to the Boardwalk at night, when the performers were out, or have gone to Jellyrolls. We would love to do a horse and carriage ride, check out some terrific tours at MK. We did do the segway tour and the dolphins in depth at Epcot during our trip in 2010. Great time!!! This year, I am waiting for some of the seminars to be announced at Food and Wine, and hopefully will attend a few of those as well. As other posters have stated, there is always something new to do at Disney :)

We like to have an evening exploring the resorts on the monorail... We enjoy sitting on the beach at the grand Floridian sipping a cocktail watching the sun set or going to the beach at wilderness lodge and playing a game of tether ball :)

Try going to a new restaurant or bar. Every time I go I like to try a new food or get a drink somewhere I haven't been before. It's nothing huge but it always add's a little something new to the day.

This year I parasailed and the last time all the girls did the "pearl" in the oyster thing at the store in Japan at Epcot - big ceremony each time, really fun! Just take the time to look for a few small things - they are there!

I agree with trying a new tour or new restaurant and bar

I also like to do attractions I wouldn't normally do-it usually ends up being fun. Take a small ferry from the Magic Kingdown to the monorail resorts or FW or WL and explore the grounds. I enjoy just being on the small ferries for the ride.
