New Test Track ride vehicle debuts

Rode last Friday. I was counting the cars while in the loading queue, and 2/3 of them have been given new skins. Some blue, some red. I rode in a new red car. Interior was the same and a little run down, but the video screen was working and had all of the correct effects. Audio was perfect as well. The acid robots were static though.

Cool...I'll be at Epcot on Saturday to check 'em out.

There's a red one now? Interesting...anyone got a picture somewhere?

I saw the red car last week. But it has the black and yellow stickers all over it so I thought it was old.

Several hace said that WDI is actively still pitching the details to GM. They have a unique opportunity here where they can test some concepts on a still operational ride and get feedback.

I specifically saw the red color car and freaked out. But when we looked closer it looked really bad. Paint peeling and such. It didn't look new and didn't match the red car at all. Gotta be old...

EDIT: Here is a photo of the red car I saw...third picture down. Old car. http://www.lifthill.com/news/gm-ending-epcot-test-track-sponsorship/

Oops! Well, it's possible that they added a new skin in the last couple of weeks :p

I know! I was just messing! Glad you posted that because that is for sure the vehicle I saw. I knew it was old because it was in horrid shape but I didn't remember there being other colors than the white ones. And this thread had me all excited before riding.

I also saw other old blues, yellows and whites.
