I am by no means trolling or playing forum police as this is a genuine question.
Does this have any implications for WDW?
Not directly, but it appears to be quite a bold change in the management of the company. Considering that we know that Bob Iger is on his way out and that there will be the question of who is going to be his successor it is very interesting that they did not promote from within but did hire an outsider. Something Disney has not been doing a lot in the recent past.
I don't think you can just view WDW without a look at the bigger picture - be it the competition (aka as Universal) or the rest of the The Walt Disney Company. Everything is connected in a way.
