And imagine the speed you can get out of that thing as well. Talk about a battering ram. I'm positive yall will be wishing for the smaller/slower keenz when families that were using them start hauling this thing. As they say..be careful what you wish for.

Don't worry they will be added to the banned list as well as soon as people start complaining to Disney about them and the people using them as battering rams.... And as you said "..be careful what you wish for."... works both ways.

Well I hope yall are ready to see much more of these in the parks now...
Which are much bigger than the keenz...and that front wheels gonna be a joy for your ankles.
Yes it's been confirmed these are allowed. Have fun.

I posted several pages ago that the double BOB also is not banned. Still scratching my head at the wagon ban if it's related to guest issues.

That is until disney gets hit with discrimination accusations. If youre miserable enough to complain about children and their means to aid disabilities then perhaps YOU should be the one no longer visiting the parks.

Those bike trailers are 34.5" wide, which will be too wide under the new 31" width limit starting May 1st. Nice try at trolling, though. Doing your research has its benefits.

Loving the hyperbole.

You voiced your concerns. No one was a jerk to you. No need to take your anger out on everyone else....unless you're just looking for a reaction now....

You're right...research does have its benefits. 😉

All within limits...and there's plenty more where that came from.

Geez, I have no idea how some of us survived the 50's without 5-point-harnesses, combat strollers, on-demand ice and living with parents who smoked like chimneys...
50's?? Heck, 70's is far enough to have killer highchairs and killer 2nd hand smoke.

So first you posted a photo of a 2-child bike trailer that was obviously too wide, and are now gloating with a listing of a 1-child bike trailer and saying "SEE? TOLD YOU SO." lol, okay.

I'm not getting into y'all's discussion 😆, but his point (I think) was that much larger systems are allowed like the double BOB, but the much smaller Keenz is banned. It's a head scratcher.

From what Cast Members have been saying on Reddit, it's two issues:

  1. It's difficult to see over the canopy, which has led to a sharp uptick in incident reports of other guests being run into.
  2. Folks over-packing them full of stuff, all of which needs to be hand checked by security. At Disneyland especially, it was causing major backups in getting people through the gates (since EVERYONE needs to go through this checkpoint whether you are going to Downtown Disney, DL or California Adventure). With Galaxy's Edge opening soon and the expected increase in crowds, I can understand why they are implementing this ban now rather than later.
Wagons have always been banned at Disney, Keenz just found a loophole and got away with it for a year or two. Disney is closing that loophole.

I think it’s less about size than function. Wagons are primarily designed to haul stuff instead of kids. They’ve never been allowed. The fact that some company gambled on making some modifications and called it a stroller wagon doesn’t change its basic design and function. Disney doesn’t want a proliferation of wagons used to haul coolers, backpacks, extra clothes, etc.

If your child is mobility impaired, you should arrive at WDW with a mobility assistance device already.
If you cared to read my post on my childs disability and why the keenz was perfect dor him and this circumstance as much as you cared to read my posts today perhaps this comment would unnecessary.

Those all have a major drawback for lots of the parents who currently push parade floats: After you put the child in, there are no dedicated compartments to haul around the obligatory kitchen sink and accouterments.

The new policy specifically prohibits wagons. ADA does not cover wagons but does cover wheelchairs. https://www.ada.gov/opdmd.htm

Sorry, but you taking such an untenable position and then attempting to bludgeon others for not accepting it isnt nice.

There’s no basis for a discrimination claim, but who knows? Keenz may find Susan Grill’s lawyer.
