I think it's great! Such a fantastic actress, and her voice is so perfect for this sort of role - excellent casting.

I hope she rolls around on that wheel somehow, that would be awesome to see!

I love her work. West Wing was likely her biggest role, no? She was in Juno, Away We Go, etc.
Regardless, I agree with pp's, she does have a great voice for it.

Can't forget Family Guy and Phineas&Ferb.

Aly San San is voiced by Allison Janney. So, "Aly San" is a funny way of spelling Allison. They're just naming the character after the actor voicing her. I would think they could have taken in one step further, and named it Aly San Jan-E if they were going to do that, but what do I know? :shrug:

So Jim Hill mentioned this on his most recent podcast (in the last 3 minutes of the show specifically).

He was at the Marvelous Mechanized Magic Kingdom Event held at the Disneyland hotel on 9/17. The event featured several veteran imagineers, and one of them mentioned that C3PO will be the new pilot in the Star Speeder. There were about 300 people in attendance, and none of the other imagineers corrected him.

Jim speculated that the guy may be misinformed, as this had gone against pretty much everything others have heard about the new pilot.

Either way, it's something to keep an eye on.
