New stage show coming to Magic Kingdom?

@DCharacternews reported on Twitter yesterday that a new stage show is coming to the Magic Kingdom in 2016. They've been a reliable source in the past, so I assume this is true.

Someone else told me that this new offering could be a Princess and the Frog show. I like the sound of this, but DHS is clearly the park in need of new stage show offerings the most.

Thoughts on this?

I fully believe there will be a new show but would be surprised if it was themed to Princess and the Frog. Not exactly a hit for Disney and not as current as other favorites. What would motivate them to use it as a show? Whatever it is I hope Mickey and company don't get the boot. They deserve a show at MK!

They have a 3D show 100 yards away.
NOT in the same class as to what Mickey has done on the Castle Stage! While I liked PATF, they should bring back the showboat jubilee(LOVED that show!!!) and not put it on the Castle Stage. MK's Castle is the place for Mickey and friends. MK has done that with every Castle show they had except Cinderellabration which got budget cut badly from TDL's version. MK needs more shows in the evening like they did WAY back in the day. DAWM looks STUNNING after dark, thanks to Frozen Holiday Wish!

Could we be getting a copy of SDL's show?

To the OP: Any news on changing the stage? We all know it just got refreshed but if something got approved, who knows??? Would be nice to change the stage so CTS can get it's Winter number back. Unless CTS's contract is up??

Any idea that begins with "A copy of..." or "Bring back..." would be a mistake in my opinion.

Having said that, the Castle show is a non-starter for me. It is simply not a format, or a presentation that draws me in. Everyone else is certainly welcome to enjoy it, but my family has never seen an entire performance, and isn't really begging to do it. To each their own.

As long as it's not a buzzword fest...

No wonder Dream Along With Mickey has gotten on my nerves over the past 9 years.

If I had to guess, Facilier. He's a very popular villain with guests, and doesn't require as much make up as Maleficent does. Plus, if they needed him to come in and pre-record anything, Keith David has a long and very good working relationship with Disney.

Yes..Yes he does..

Jalapena!

All kidding aside, besides Gargoyles, Mr. David has loaned his voice to numerous Disney animated projects, including Hercules (both the film & animated series), the Aladdin animated series, the Tarzan animated series, and Once Upon a Time in Wonderland.

Also, not Disney, but he was on Mr. Roger's Neighborhood. Neat!

I generally agree. But the new Hocus Pocus show this year was phenomenal.
