I saw Blogmickey and the site that shall not be named post these new signs at the MK & Epcot entrances. Was wondering if anyone knew their purpose? And if they're coming to all the parks

Looks like they finally got their nuclear fallout shelter certifications so it is open for business

It's to display the daily cost of Genie+ since it's going to variable pricing model.

or

It's going to be where they put up daily pictures of the Bob Chapek. In the warmer months, I understand it will be him posing in his Speedo.

The tab at the bottom shows it’s meant to hold something and what we see here is an “empty” sign holder.
I agree, its probably will be used when EPCOT closes early for a private event.

I think we will see more and more of these private events. The math is simple, take money for daytime guests and also get money for private events.

Epcot has been doing private events for decades, they just rarely alter the parks operating hours.

Agreed, they did events for decades, in my opinion, I think there will more, and they will close early for events.

Bob is actually planning to make it much easier for guests to understand prices for each ride and Genie+ by installing the same display he has in every room of his house.

Pure guess work is that this is meant to replace things that the sandwich boards have been used for historically. There appears to be a growing disdain for them internally.
