New roof painting at Cinderella Castle

Have you notice that Cinderella Castle has a new painting in one of the roofs?? Soem king of zig zag painting on the top roof like the one in Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland. They did this when they installed the lights.

The zig-zag shingles? They were put in when they painted the castle a little more pink...

Not sure if I like it on Cinderella's Castle...

It's overdue...they should have built it like that originally in '71; it's a classy design which harkens back to the original castle of them all, the Neuschwanstein-inspired one at DL.

No. This ones are new. they painted them in october.Here is a photo of the castle back in September 07. This was one year after the painting of the castle. The new ones are where I placed the black circle

I like it. How long has it been like that?

Well i've seen pictures of the castle in the firsts MNSHP and the castle was "normal". From October it was like this so it must be at that time

I was going to try to post you guys some pictures but my internet is acting up right now....

Anyway...I havea a picture of the castle from opening weekend of HM and only half of the top zigzag was painted.... so to answer the question....it was at the beginning of september they started painting it.
