New roof for Tea Cups?

I'm surprised no one's mentioned this, but judging from the FL expansion concept art, it appears that the tea cups are getting a new roof that looks like the one at DLP. So is it true that its getting a new roof? I will be ecstatic if it is.

Months ago I noticed that the Teacup roof was in bad shape. Really bad shape. As in, so bad it looked like it was intentionally being allowed to rust and collect cobwebs because they knew it would be replaced soon. Just like how The Seas took a nosedive the year before the Nemo makeover.

Letting a facility go without maintenance is usually an indication it is going away. So that is a good sign the the new roof is in the plans.

I personally believe the FL expansion has been years in the planning.

As for the roof, it looks like the one from Paris which is all fantastic in its whimsical/Dr. Suess nature. Hopefully some other area landscaping improvements can make this an even better Alice attraction.

Keep in mind things like this are usually the first things to get caught. For example a ton of things that were shown when the DCA redo announcement was made have gotten cut such as a new queue for Screamin, a new cover for Triton's carousel, etc.

I would love for the Tea Party to get redone, I think it SHOULD be upgraded, the plans call for it to be upgraded but will it? .............

Con, love the ideas...but seriously? Room? :lol: It's like a spinner...Does it need it? That money (which is allocated in the same FL budget) could be used for something else.:wave:


But plussing is always great if possible, I agree.

Yes The conundrum's ideasare great while I would never ride this ride because I don't mix well with spinning these would be great!

Would you believe that I prefer the aestethics of WDW?

Somehow, the more 'real' architecture of WDW is more magical to me than the 'storybook' one of DLP.
