New Return Procedure at Soarin'

I totally agree. If the demand is so high then build more Soarin hang gliders and theaters. We were talking about this on another thread. Instead they want to mess with an INDOOR queue. If I choose to wait in the stand by line and I paid admission to the park let me stand in line. Not only are we having to pay for "experiences" and viewing areas that were free in the past, we potentially are having standing in lines taken away from us. I'm waiting for the Soarin Standing in Line Block Party that for $59, you can stand in line for Soarin while getting tapas or desserts. Shame on you Disney.

Shh! Don't give them any ideas!

We are a family that always does Soarin' multiple times per day. We go to early morning EMHs and arrive early to be close to the front. We dealt with the ADRs and the FP+ and wore the MBs (well, I didn't wear mine after day 3 because of a rash, but I think it was a reaction with medication since I was the only one in the family to experience this and the medicine was the only difference).

We have developed a new Epcot morning day for EMHS with FP+. We go straight to Soarin' and ride, and have our FPs set for that same ride later on in the morning. Once we are done with Soarin' we go do TT once in the standby line and then in the single rider. This allows us to ride both rides twice in one day.

We are going in Feb with a band trip. If the experience has changed so much by then vs. how we experienced it in June and its more of a hassle then we have already decided to change our summer trip plans.

I will say that we didn't look like everyone else because I took our camera and none of us had i - anything .

baaaaahahahahahaa this is hilarious! They should just get rid of stand-by all together and let people get FP for anything you want to ride.

Saw this on twitter:

"At 5:30 guests were near riot level refusing to leave and the CM's were threatening to all quit. Reopened standby - made return holders mad."

"Second day, orders came down to "stick to the plan" and the queue closed again around 5pm. At 6:40 CMs began walking off refusing to work."
Oh myy.
